I'm not sure I believe the claims that he lost a considerable amount of $$$ on crypto. I actually don't believe this at all. Boogie's been all over the place regarding his wild crypto claims but there has been a single constant all throughout which is that up until now, he has always bought low and always sold high. Like with the Gamestop saga when he pretended to be an expert day trader because he couldn't sit on the sidelines of a viral internet based story, you get the feeling that Boogie just wants to feel involved. Jesse and I think Keem have both made a fortune on crypto and Boogie seems to be a mostly risk-averse guy so it doesn't really align that he was gambling away his entire savings like that. He lied about his crypto gains inching him towards being a millionaire, he lied about investing all of his $$$ at the peak of $GME, I see no reason why he he wouldn't lie about these alleged massive crypto losses he's claiming to have sustained.
It's certainly more interesting than what I believe to be the real answer. Which is that his videos have fallen under 1 million views/month, he can't even secure a LootCrate or RAID Shadow Legends sponsorship anymore, and that this has gone on long enough for him to have drained the safe part of his savings he's been holding onto post-divorce. I can't remember the exact timeline but I seem to remember him worrying somewhere around two years ago that he only had enough savings for a couple years, this was when he took his first break around the Frank Hassle saga.
Keep in mind he was streaming live on Twitch the night or two before that upload talking about spending $60k+ in only two years on sugar babies and escorts and a total of $100k+ over a period of time not much longer than that. That's simply unsustainable when your channel can't secure sponsorships or pull in a million views/month. If what he said in his begging video was true and he was actually being honest about his financial situation with his few remaining viewers (Idk how many "fans" he has left), well it's awfully strange he didn't once think to mention the $100,000 he had hours earlier semi-bragged about spending on hookers. He said he spent $3,500~ (around there) on the purebred poodle he originally bought for the hooker on like their 3rd date. If that's any indication of his desperation levels, desire to appear like he can make up for lack of looks with $$$ compared to the vast selection of "sugar daddies" on Seeking, and lack of financial responsibility, well then I think it makes much more sense that's how he pissed his money away as opposed to suddenly in his late 40's and with no plan B deciding to risk it all by crypto gambling. Who knows just how much truth there is to this but he's constantly talking about covering hooker's rent and car payments as well. You have to figure that any sugar baby worth their salt is taxing the fuck out of Boogie compared to what they would for the stock photo models in nice suits Seeking tries to represent the sugar daddies on their site. This also would go along with my theory that Boogie tries to be flashy at first, spending money on these girls he can't afford, hoping to find vulnerable ones he can lure in and then attempt to emotionally blackmail over time into non-consensually transitioning into what Boogie would call an actual relationship. What this actually means is he doesn't want to have to send them money on PayPal just to respond to his every "good morning" text. I have always believed. None of this is even mentioning the $25k he claims to have spent hiring his lawyer to represent him along with the related legal fees for his felony court case.
While this could've just been convenient timing, in his Beggie2988 video he heavily implies that it was Jesse's advice he took that was responsible for him losing this amount of money. This is also partially relying on context that's been made available if you're familiar with Boogie and Jesse's relationship going back the past few years along with his participation in the StoryFire scam. Speaking of, it was funny hearing Keem confirm years later on that stream what we were all talking about on S&T in 2019 which was SF just being a glorified Vimeo clone and a scam at that.
