That was about 5 or 6 years ago now, so I’d hope he’s gotten over it. Still, living rent feee in someone’s (film) brain for that long would be a cheap accommodation what with the old cost of living crisis.

Usually if you want to sell shirts and mugs you need something other than just your face or the name of your channel, you need lore, memes, a character, art, a well known event, the sort of things that your viewers think of when they think of you. I guess "symbolism" is the only thing that comes to mind for me as well.

It's not like he was a big draw to the site and was kept around as comic relief more than anything else.

I can't remember if it was supposed to be ironic or not at this point - I swear her videos used to at least be vaguely entertaining but the last couple of years have been rough (I can time it directly to her crediting/fawning over her "Lady Emily" writer, I wouldn't be shocked if they write most of the scripts).

Lady Emily (a man) gave him a pity RT, Sarah Z ignored his tweets. Sad!
