Gosh, it's almost like these people have identity problems that go much, much deeper than which sex they identify as.
Powerlevel but I am the kind of person who has the kind of free-floating, low-level anxiety that occasionally leads me to try to munchie myself into a diagnosis.
"Wow, am I borderline? Maybe I do have a shifting sense of identity. Maybe all my problems are from not having a stable sense of self. Maybe everyone around me hates me because I am a poser who goes through life mimicking other people in some cargo-cult attempt at having a personality and they see through me."
Then I read what my primary school teachers said about me in their notes and I realize that I was the same person when I was five and I will die the same person.
Not to get all meta, but I feel like there was a lot of value in a society where you did what your family did and you spent your life laboring alongside people with shared values.
Telling people "you can be whatever you want to be" leads to a lot of lost and directionless souls.

I think that she is being horribly misinterpreted here.
She was traumatized by the ending of apartheid when she was no longer allowed to shoot black people out of boredom.
She “adopted” the child with intention of letting it loose so she could hunt him down.
Unfortunately, her “Raady kaffir lavin’” agent told her hunting children, even black, would cause a bit of unwelcome press.
So she obviously just had to humiliate him instead.
I doubt this is her being all soft. She is playing the long game so that when he goes all crazy and Chris on her she can shoot him like she planned all along.
On a semi related note, I wonder how many cases of father trooning out abandonment issues are going to be making psychologists and private therapists rich in the next 20-30 years?

It's pretty full on surgery, so not surprising at all he is still recovering. He literally had a decently sized hole punched into his crotch.
Edit: and who knows what sort of strange shit has already been shoved into it under the guise of 'taking the amhole for a spin.'

I like the second pronunciation because I find it stronger and funnier. As long as you pronounce it in your head the way you find funniest, both are acceptable.
