I think it's shitty of ol' Gin to not give Jen's audience a final update video. Jen's entire life was lived online. Apart from her Section 8 neighbours/acquaintances, her only real friends were online. To just leave everyone hanging is pretty low. For whatever unfathomable reason, a lot of people actually liked Jen and now they've been left in the dark about her last days and death.
A coward to the very end, our Vernon.

Im doubting this is Gene. Its a 4 month old account. I dont know how youtube works, couldnt he have just reactivated his old one?

Has there been any activity on the account at all since she died?

I have a sneaking suspicion he can't access the youtube account. I don't think he would ever do a memorial/update video but I do think he's grifty enough to try to scam some funds out of her audience via gofundme or something. Gene is not a smart person but it doesn't take an Einstein to know that Jen's death could be leveraged for some money from her following.

Gene is also probably too drunk right now to bother filming and editing a video, which if he really did care for Jen I wouldn't judge him for. Death sucks even if she did it to herself.

Hard to imagine he didn’t know her password or couldn’t access it. He did do her video editing and likely her uploads. Jen was lazy and I’m sure would hand over a password in order not to have to move. She was passive aggressive, sure, but her sloth won out over everything. No reason not to let him know. Jen also strikes me as the type who would have used one password for everything, rather than a password manager, so even if she never told him, he could likely guess. Probably was Cheddar123 or something.

If any money comes in from views, can he claim it? They weren’t married but they could have merged bank accounts-if they even had them.

He's probably not even sober enough to realize that the fucking behemoth died - any fleeting glimpse of lucidity is probably forgotten. A video or a post means questions. Questions he wouldn't want an answer.
