Real or not this is a good photo that Kari Lake did and shows she's very smart with public image

A woman doing a womanly thing, also a motherly thing, while also connecting to showing a reverence for who the people choose, which makes the whole photo feel very strong. The only person who would hate this photo are the childless cat moms still wearing masks.
Hell, it also shows actual reverence for both the office of the President and Trump in particular. Something that is smart to do because the Republican party -is- the party of Trump now. His voters make up the vast, vast majority of the party and she knows she has to get those voters to come out in droves. Particularly in her state.
I cannot stress this enough. There is no such thing as playing up too much to the Trump crowd. The man holds a 90+ percent approval among the Republican base, and usually hovers around mid forties for Independents when not primed.

Trump had two good rallies this weekend in Nevada and Arizona, Blake Masters really making a good push to just be a legitimate shitposter in the senate just to ask why they're all faggots. He has a sense that he's already got the money he needs for his family so he's not in grift mode, he just needs something to do for a decade:

It's becoming more and more obvious the Walker bullshit from last week was someone throwing money at the accuser and Walker's son.

Nuclear war could be coming, be sure to get your kin on the frontline, peasant

Save this photo to your phone to show anyone who thinks food prices haven't been that bad. It's bad enough the main ingredients are so expensive, rainbow sprinkles, the thing that brings a different beauty, are going to be priced away. Brutalism in confectionary form.

This is kind of mean, but the fact that SSS used a photo of a black kid with his dad made me laugh my ass off for a good minute. You're looking at a demographic in this country with the highest percentage of households with absentee fathers in a society where half of all marriages end in divorce (and that's not even counting unwed parents), and they had the audacity to to basically write, "Because you have taken money offered to you by the feds in the past, we're gonna throw the sole young man who will most likely carry your family name into our multi-trillion dollar meat grinder to save our laundered assets in some Slavic shithole. No refunds!"

In any case, considering the dire state of recruitment into the armed forces these days, you're not gonna get many smart, well-adjusted black recruits who will pass through basic training, certainly not many with dads. No wonder SSS is flirting with conscription...

That entire message is so fucked, even ignoring the picture of the black kid. "Hey Parents, do you love your son more than life itself and would do anything to keep him out of harms way? Too fucking bad, he still has to sign up for the selective service in case we need him to die for Zelensky. Also fuck you if you think your daughter is safe, sign her up too. We need as much cannon fodder as we can get"

I turned my alerts off..... I am sorry everyone it's just too much and a constant :c
One of the reasons I clung to my ancient pre-LTE flipphone for as long as I could was because the government here announced they were going to use the emergency warning system to send out Amber alerts. Might be a pain to use a janky old flipphone but the lack of semiregular screaming from my pocket was worth it.

I hate to be one of those "it's not that bad" types, but I genuinely have not seen inflation anywhere near this bad. Are you guys experiencing this shit, or are the stores in my area engaging in some voodoo black magic to keep prices down?

In my red southern state over the past year:

gas remains $2.85/gallon, this spring it was as high as $4.62, under Donnie Two Scoops it was $1.98 in November 2020 and remained around $2-2.50/gallon.

16.9 oz bottled water packs for home/office went from $4 for a case to $5, and that's just the store brand purified water

milk went from $2.25/gallon to $3.50

bread went from $2/loaf to $2.75

12 oz packs of bacon went from $4 to $5+, more like $6 now. AA large brown eggs have gone from $3/dozen to $4.25.

12 packs of soda used to go on sale regularly 3 for $11, 4 for $12. Now it's 3 for $14. The normal sale price went from $5 to $7. Half gallons of ice cream went from $5 to $6.25

meat prices are higher but the silver lining is because the meat gets to the point of being to expensive to sell and they need to move the product before it spoils, they have 25% off discounts all the time that you buy and then freeze.

The chicken bake at Costco went from $3 to $4, and the pizza slices will probably go up from $2 to $3 by year's end (hot dog and soda remain $1.50 but they do have a hard limit these days, that is from the mouth of the food court employee at my Costco two weeks ago).

Sales tax included, fast food has shot up in price so much it's better to just go to a real sit down restaurant. In 18 months Raising Cane's 3 finger chicken combo went from $7.25 to currently just under $10. A Big Mac meal went for $7.50 to nearly 9.50.

These things on their own here and there don't matter, and you can save money going to store brands, but after a month or two they really add up, which is why when those smug blue checkmark faggots shit on that family of 11 who were on CNN talking about how expensive milk is because they buy gallons of milk every month (because it's a family of 11), I wanted their stinkditch's to rip open.

I have no idea what you people up north are going to do when it comes to heating oil.

There's two kinds of people up in the colder north. The kinds that put a stew into the slowcooker before going to work, come home, throw on an extra layer of wool socks, wrap up in a warm blanket and read a book while eating their soup. And then there's the kinds that throw the thermostat up to 30, start feeling a bit hot, and go get a bowl of ice cream.

One of these groups will make do with what they can get pretty well, the other will bitch endlessly on twitter. And me? Well I love me some nice thick socks.

I saw this interesting tale then I'm not alone who have the same wish as the guy who wrote that article.

You Can Always Dream

Last night I had a dream… Everyone that I knew… And everyone that you know was in my dream… I saw a vampire… I saw a ghost… Everybody scared me but you sacred me the most… In the dream I had last night… — Randy Newman

Last night I had a dream. In the dream I woke up to the banner headline: BIDEN ARRESTED. It was only a dream, but was most satisfying, as it made vivid and emphatic what must happen to correct the dreadful tendings of the criminally psychopathic enterprise that our government has become.
The gang behind the shabby and absurd pretend-president — a figure as comically macabre as the plastic effigies of the undead who crowd American front yards this time of year — is not content with running the country into a ditch. Lately these rogues and degenerates are making noises about blowing up the world.

The autumn days dwindle down to signal events that will overturn this wicked enterprise. The yellow-and-blue flag of Ukraine can’t compete on the lawn with tableaux vivants of werewolves, skeletons hung with rotting flesh, radioactive burn victims, hooded demons from hell escaping their graves, and tortured souls shrieking from the various zones between this world and perdition. America is expressing itself with stunning verisimilitude to the onrush of reality: maybe we’ve had enough of romancing death.

That’s the developing lesson of our fiasco in Ukraine. The past three weeks, the US and its vacillating NATO cohorts issued a set of challenging insults aimed at Russia, the designated “villain” in the concocted Ukraine melodrama produced-and-directed by the Party of Chaos as a diversion from our own acute problems at home.
First, the sabotage of Nord Streams One and Two. Maybe a US op, maybe UK, maybe Poland in the mix somewhere. Obviously not Russia, despite all the clumsy propaganda on CNN. What was the idea there, exactly? To deprive Russia of a natgas export market? Guess what? The destruction of the Nord Streams leaves plenty of natgas for the other 70-percent of the world that’s not Europe. And plenty of natgas for Russia itself to develop industries in an import-replacement program to offset the idiotic economic sanctions recklessly imposed on it by “Joe Biden” & Company.
Not such a good outcome for Germany and the EU, though. They will, first, freeze through the winter with idle furnaces and, second, starve in 2023-24 from a lack of fertilizer (made from natgas in the Haber-Bosch process). Oh, and no more industry for you, Euroland. It’s back to the jolly rigors of the Twelfth Century, planting barley and peasecods with pointed sticks while wolves roam the streets of your depopulated cities.

That would be good to pair with a similar cut of all the walking corpses the democrats raised to vote biden into office:
that reminds me how much I regret not buying Dawn of the Dead on DVD when I had the chance. the DVD is now out of print and the owner of the film is demanding obscene amount of money to license it for a re-release due to him having sunk a huge fortune into trying to convert it into a 3-D film in the early 10s and failing, resulting in him declaring his intent to hold the film hostage and keep it out of circulation until he finds a mark who will pay him the money for the film PLUS what he wasted failing in the failed 3D conversion scheme.

um you know there s always the high sea s right?
