I’m a networking illiterate but can Null redirect kiwifarms.net to a government website so that the DDoS targets them instead? Or will that look like all traffic is coming from here? Might be the only way LE would pay attention to DDoS but it’s probably a braindead idea.
They target by IP of the actual server not the domain for pretty much this exact reason, domains can be pointed almost anywhere. The IP is effectively the "street address" of the server.
To add to what Airdrop is saying you can easily find the IP that a domain is pointing to using a dig tool.
Like, if you're going to waste 16,000 hours of your life on vidya, why do it on something shit like Fallout 76?
