They use bots that are verified to post benign comments and then bots to make it a top comment, people click on the channel, and a pinned video belongs to their main channel (you can pin videos from another channel). After he fostered enough clout, he brew up this scam to summon $100,000 out of thin air because outrage sells and Kiwifarms is literally accountable for the Holocaust, the Rwandan Genocide, the Holodomor, and the asteroids that wiped out the dinosaurs.
I know this is circular reasoning, I'm decent enough to disclose it though, unlike Lucas who cites an article citing him as "proof".

Considering he literally begs his fanbase to game the youtube algorithm and asks them to help intentionally bloat the traffic on his youtube, your theory is probably what is actually happening. If he cant get enough real users to do it, he certainly wouldnt be above the use of bots, so that he can get more real users.

A few years back (iirc 2019), the site was compromised in such a way that several hundred users' names (most or all of them being from people who recently accessed the site), email addresses, and IP addresses were leaked. Many users did not return afterward. Keffals gleefully proclaiming that he will share users' information with their employers reflects this. The recent scare less than a month ago when the site was breached because of a script injection loaded via chat should serve as a warning that people like Keffals and co will do damn near anything to ruin anonymous peoples' lives for the crime of publishing politically incorrect views.

Keffals additionally getting archive websites to take down archives [of Kiwi Farms] documenting his long history of misdeeds is just another thing in his playbook to cross off to make himself look like the poor innocent tranny streamer being bullied by the evil Kiwi Farms as much as possible.
