It feels like he's trying to eat up the clock without realizing that asking a billion inane questions will only disengage the jury further and won't prevent the prosecution from presenting further evidence. I can appreciate the man doing everything he can to defend himself but this is going to be a slaughter and he's not acting nearly crazy enough for an appeal based on him not being competent enough to represent himself without counsel.You know the saying, "never ask a question if you don't already know the answer"? He's been using the opposite approach -- in a word, flailing -- and with this particular witness he's been fairly lucky so far, not that it's going to change anything.
