Sakana just sounds like a shitty boss that is making things worse though.

current sadgirl session started because she began to talk about the selective censorship and how she's worried it could lead to resentment in other genmates, which has really started to fuck with her social anxiety

The alternatives are letting everyone be le baste shitposters and have PC be le baste shitposter company and all the problems for them that would go along with that, or muzzle Pippa. I guess a good compromise makes everyone unhappy, but who wants to see either of the alternatives?

I guess if this is really dwelling on Pippa, she could voluntarily muzzle herself and ask to be put under the same restrictions as everyone else. At any rate, her reaction to this isn't Sakana's fault.

I think you misheard. She said they don't get paid if they don't stream. Which seems rather obvious; I don't get paid if I don't do any work either.

The people who'd actually go after PhaseConnect for having a shitposting streamer aren't known for being nuanced. They're not going to give PC a pass because they censor a few 'bad' words in some chats. It's not even like the entirety of PC wanted to be based shitposters in the first place.

And, yeah, I'd say the person who creates a rule that segregates people is responsible when people feel segregated due to that rule.

I can't feel bad for Pippa when she puts all her eggs on the chink basket instead of streaming more on Yuni, which has a quite respectable audience, collabs with more people and doesnt have to put up with a company's policies if she doesn't feel like it.

Chinks are not to be trusted, regardless of their genetic mix.

I was going to say, "Doesn't MangaGamer mostly do hentai games? That probably limits what they feel comfortable streaming on YouTube."

But taking a quick look at their site shows they have a ton of 'All Ages' games that they could've had the girls shill every so often.

HECK, Bushiroad has a weekly stream for their card games - not once have they featured their Vtubers there, but they have sponsored Hololive AND Nijisanji Vtubers to be featured in their products

Yeah, the whole thing doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If they had no intention of keeping them around long-term then why not have them graduate on a high-note when they reached the needed 10k. Instead they seemed to have randomly just went, "yeah, okay, go away now."

Wonder if it had anything to do with the developer of the game, Overdrive.

All in all, it's a pretty standard story of emotional manipulation. Bingtang was more popular than Kyouka, so he repeatedly took advantage of her connections and used her for free labor; she basically became his unpaid manager. He flirted with other girls, went to brothels, and reused their phone sex conversations for yumejo-pandering streams, and when she called him out for it, he claimed it was her responsibility as a girlfriend to support him and reframed it so she was the controlling, emotionally unstable one.
