Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Stories about victims is seeping into gaming bit by bit. Disco Elysium has a protagonist who got dumped by his gf and drinks himself into amnesia and has a psychic breakdown.
In Last of Us 2 Druckmann desperately wants you to perceive Abby and Ellie as being victims of Joel's actions.

Meanwhile From Software games are accused of being pseudo fascism because they're always about a weak hero slaying gods and becoming a catalyst for reform
>opposing existential figures of authority
>for absolute freedom (chaos)
>for the sake of uniting the world (order)
>for the sake of fucking the world (dungeater)
>for the sake of giving the world to mai waifu (simp)
>fascist

these accusations are as retarded as the people that make them
Truly the lefty relationship experience
this is why people turn right
why on earth would anyone put up with that kind of behavior or the people who accept it?

It's a cornerstone of modern left ideology that no single man is strong enough to enact meaningful change.
They think the hero's journey as a right wing power fantasy

It's not even that. The Faustian story is about men trying to overcome nature and failing, but their journey provides worth.

Leftoid ideology denies men the pleasures of tragedy. The world is rendered small and on hops the Last Man.

That actually explains as to why they think Trump was an evil aspect of Satan: his 2016 victory was a massive dickslap to their beliefs on an existential level.

History is full of counterexamples, but that would imply these people have any interest in history outside of confirmation bias. Oda Nobunaga, Caesar, Alexander, Temujin, Cortez, and Seljuk all did things that would dictate history itself.

And most of the men you listed are archvillains to modern lefties, even populares leader, friend of the plebs, and land reformist Julius Caesar.

I completely forgot you even had a backstory in Disco Elysium. It's a game about wonderful alcoholic brain damage, and when I achieve that dream you fuckers better not remind me about my family.

I doubt it works on base PS4/Xbox One yet, or ever will.

I'm just going to assume most people started playing it on better consoles and being retards forgave CDPR like everyone did with Hello Games and No Man's Sky. That's why you still hear about bugs sometimes but for the most part people are acting like it is "okay" now.
Cyberpunk's launch was a bit of a comedy of errors and should never have been on base PS4 in the first place, but apparently that was compounded by Sony's insistence on some dumbass policy about requiring games to "support" base consoles even if they're targeting pro consoles, or something.
But still 80% of the memeing about it was basically bullshit, unlike NMS which was always a fucking scam and Hello should eat shit in hell forever for the damage they did.

Somehow they still find ways to piss me off. Like this "forgiveness" was 100% a viral astroturfing campaign based on the constant "it's actually good now!" posts we had hourly on boards everywhere for months and months with the exact same fucking wording. Somehow people swallowed that shit. They made more money over the drawn-out cycle of DLC releases that gradually met some of their original promises than they did ripping people off in the first place; it's not a goddamn redemption arc.
CP, on the other hand, was always objectively fine and never deserved anywhere near the overblown hate it still receives. People are endlessly retarded, I wish we could have one without the other just so I could stop hearing both forms of bullshit but it's probably asking too much for them to be able to make that discrimination.

Are we talking about the same game here? There isn't any DLC for No Man's Sky. Was there some kind of limited edition offering?

Also, lol. Comedy of errors for 2077? I guess if you translate that as complete shitshow where the game was substantially altered from what was hyped, sure.

It's funny how works by people who openly claim to be Socialists or even Marxists have such a negative outlook on human nature. You'd think the idea of the Selfless Hero doing whats right for the people around him, even to the detriment of his own health and happiness would fit right in with their ideology, but no. They're all either drunk, suffer from mental illness, or both.

You have the zoomer brain rot and don't know what words mean anymore. Consider how this affects "your" other "opinions".
hate to break it to you, but it really doesnt have dlc otherwise i wouldve noticed it in the steam section where they show you all the dlc you can buy

Did you mean game updates that come free to the game you already bought and paid for? Because I'm not seeing any DLC for No Man's Sky either.

Was anyone else kind of revolted by night city? One of the main points of fiction is supposed to be escapism, but this game seems like a semi accurate representation of the future.
Isn't the cyberpunk genre supposed to portray a pessimistic view of the future, that no matter how much cyberparts you have, life is still a globohomo nightmare?

I dunno about pessimistic, but definitely cynical.

If you consider Gibson's initial works (Neuromancer and Count Zero), consider the end states of the characters.

Case is alive and free, with his ability to punch deck restored. However, he does not keep the girl (Molly). Armitage is dead (killed by Wintermute).

This one's a bit more complex. Marly survives and goes on to do her own talk show. Turner retires, marries his brother's girlfriend, and they raise at least one child. Bobby Newmark (the decker wannabe) becomes Angie's boyfriend. Conroy and Virek both die (Conroy gets sold out by Turner and Bobby to another decker's angry girlfriend, who has Conroy killed; Virek gets whacked by an AI cosplaying as Baron Samedi).

So there are happy endings of a sort in cyberpunk, but they're never perfect and you're going to have to work for them and get your hands dirty.

I pretty much remember Night City in Cyberpunk 2020 being overall a terrible place and a whole bunch of it's population being freak of all sorts (hell some of the classes (I forgot if that's the proper tem since I have read books from it in years) you choose to play being freaks in one way or another)

Cyberpunk 2077 making the city like that has precedent in the franchise (since I didn't play the game (yet, waiting to see what it's like patched out and at a reasonable price) so if they ramped it to a ludicrous level I wouldn't know

I know you like the taste of polack dick, but there are less humiliating ways to demonstrate.

So let's try again. Where is the paid DLC for NMS?
Did you mean game updates that come free to the game you already bought and paid for? Because I'm not seeing any DLC for No Man's Sky either.
So where's all this paid dlc, my dude.
"that Content you DownLoad isn't DLC, unless you pay for it and it has a steam page!"

he was 100% correct, you're all zoomer faggots

man what a conga line of fucking dipshits
imagine how far gone you'd have to be to think sliding 'paid' in would be a smooth move and it wasn't even one dude, they all went for it
Take the L you dumb faggot, or at least remember your own posts.
