If the PSP had an analog stick, maybe it would've lasted longer.
Also if it was advertised better and didnt feel like an home console accessory.

I had a PSP, it's outdated now, but it was cool back in the day. I remember playing Spider-Man 3 on it, and it was really cool to have a whole open world 3D Spider-Man game on a handheld. If the PSP had an analog stick, maybe it would've lasted longer.
I meant two analog sticks. My bad. I loved my PSP. When developers knew how to use it, their games would be on par to console experiences.I had a PSP, it's outdated now, but it was cool back in the day. It already had an analog stick, it should have had 2, like the Vita did.
A single analog stick was all it took to take Peace Walker from being jank to fun IMOI meant two analog sticks. My bad. I loved my PSP. When developers knew how to use it, their games would be on par to console experiences.

Nintendo does not know how to maintain analog sticks. How can my PSP NUB be more reliable than a premium controller? That lil' nubbly thing was barely a stick anyway. Mine never broke but I remember people always complaining theirs was on GameFAQs. Meanwhile, after about ten years my 3DS stick is finally getting a little.... I want to say grindy. It's one of the older 3DS models. The red one. I don't think it's gonna break any time soon. But I know it won't last forever.
I dont think its an unpopular opinion, hell everyone i know who played it (even myself) went with a combination of those three stylesI remember renting it and not liking it. Probably because I was still actively playing Fight for NY. If I see it for $5 at a flea market I'll have to pick it up. Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but best fighting style is martial arts, kickboxing, then pick up streetfighting.
I understand why Guitar Hero expanded to band instruments, but it was unnecessary. It was GUITAR Hero, not BAND Hero. Most of the Neversoft Guitar Hero games were good. Not on the level of GH2 but not bad.
I also love Rock band but its fanboys for that series and fanboys for Harmonix in general were horribly annoying and insufferable back during the peak of the genre’s popularity. They almost ruined RB for me until I finally stopped hanging around the rhythm game community and purchased the games to play with myself and irl people.
There have been a bunch of recentish tries at bringing back live action FMV like Late Shift and The Complex but I don't even know what type of game they are. I really like the old Don Bluth FMV games, and the fact that gaymers seem to hate them and blame them for inventing QTEs only makes them more appealing.FMV games like Night Trap and a lot of obscure Windows 95 FMV adventure games need to come back.
Def Jam: Icon was quite innovative, but failed in its execution. If it was faster, it could've been a solid fighting game in its own right.Started replaying Def Jam: Fight for New York recently after reading some comments here and fuck, i didnt remember how bad the character creator was. The customizing is great, there's a lot of variety and colors, but the model for your character is just so fucking ugly, and not in the badass way, it's just unappealing, and stands out from everyone else in the game for the wrong reasons
Kickboxing style is busted, especially that Heavy Throw+Punch move that can either melt your HP down to red or flatout segment into a Blazing Move to finish the match, its fun to play with, but personally i hate that it pretty much turns all your Heavy Kick throws into the same move
Submissions on the other hand... Playing on Hard with this as your initial style is controller breaking difficult, especially if you don't manage to get a second style by the time you reach Elephant Man. Style is so ballbusting slow, has no combos, insulting reach, and with the low stats you start out with, actually submitting opponents is very tedious, not to mention none of the subs grapples you get are any good.
You can see why everyone goes for a mix of Kickboxing/Street Fighting/Martial Arts as their OC's style, Wrestling and Submissions got shafted so hard and that sucks, cause i love the moves those two get
Even Tex Murphy made a comeback! Tesla Effect was pretty good. No one is making games in the style of A Fork in the Tale anymore because that shit sucks ass and the closest thing to it might be Zoe Quinn's dead and gay kickstarter project. There have been a bunch of recentish tries at bringing back live action FMV like Late Shift and The Complex but I don't even know what type of game they are. Still waiting on the digitized sprite comeback.

Lol i actually finished that one back then, god, talk about missed potential... I would pay for a game with FFNY's gameplay, and Icon's music gimmick, and yeah like you said, had the gameplay been faster, shit wouldve turned out so differentDef Jam: Icon was quite innovative, but failed in its execution. I miss Neversoft. Remember the old Spider-Man game they made for the PS1? Vicarious Visions made the sequel, Treyarch made the Raimi movie games. Activision-Blizzard ruined so many good studios. Most of the Neversoft Guitar Hero games were good. Not on the level of GH2 but not bad.

Well at least there's the "Sackboy: A Big Adventure" game that's being ported to PC. I do like the LBP games, they're very cute.Little Big Planet should have had another release for the PlayStation 5. It would go hand in hand with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Rock Band's fanboys were simp tier for how they'd make excuses for Rock Band's abysmal instrument quality. The guitars were terrible, they had no tactile feedback in the strum bar, and big flat mushy frets that just weren't pleasant to use at all. Each and every Guitar Hero guitar was better. And then you had the drums, which would drop inputs all the time. I never got to try Guitar Hero's drums, but I didn't understand how anyone actually got gud at drums without modding them to boost their sensitivity. Most of the Neversoft Guitar Hero games were good. Not on the level of GH2 but not bad.
