The Milwaukee man accused of killing six people and running over dozens with an SUV at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisc. pleaded not guilty to every charge laid against him.

According to the local Fox affiliate, Darrell Brooks, 39, pleaded not guilty to all 77 charges against him.

Brooks remains in jail on $5 million bail. GoFundMe confirmed to FOX Business in November that they removed the fundraiser for violating the crowdsourcing platform's Terms of Service. Additionally, the person who launched the fundraiser, reportedly a man named James Norton, will no longer be permitted to use the platform for any future fundraisers.

The courts have said that there is ample evidence against Brooks, as well as testimony from police detective Thomas Casey, who described how Brooks plowed into citizens even after some yelled at him to stop. Brooks allegedly "zigzagged" across the street "for blocks" at the family event.

Victims include an 8-year-old boy, along with members of the Dancing Grannies troupe, that was performing in the parade.

Public defender Anna Kees said that her defendant could not turn off the route, and that he did not intend to hit pedestrians. She also said that Brooks couldn't bring himself to look at photos of the crimes he allegedly committed.

Like I've implied earlier I'm a local to the area and I'm really surprised there aren't any pundits advocating for Wisconsin to bring back the death penalty. The state being among the first to abolish the death penalty.

I love the performance of "the jury deserves to know your honor," truly an upstanding honest man with a thirst for truth and justice. I forget which witness it was but he didn't start asking questions for like 2 minutes because he "was emotional" and had to gather himself. Truly wretched. These witnesses have such tremendous restraint they should get some sort award after this is all finished. Very much looking forward to his testimoney though, like what is his arguement going to be? "I had to flee from the cops because I feared for my life. I didn't intend to drive in the parade and once i was in all the exits were barricaded so I had to proceed down mainstreet. I honked my horn and swerved so I did my best not to hit anyone so I can't be held liable."

His defense so far seems to be setting that up but he's also been trying to cast doubt on whether or not he was the driver. If he wasn't the driver then why would he focus so much on the actions of the driver?

Although technically if you wanted to look like a retard you could ask yourself questions and answer them. Until the judge told you to stop being a retard which would be immediately
Colin Ferguson did exactly that. They can't really stop you from representing yourself even if you look like a retard, unless you're too retarded even to represent yourself, and the bar is really low.

I'm sure his thinking is that if he casts as much doubt as possible on the witness testimony he can try to wiggle his way out of this on a technicality at some point down the line. I've seen these stories where organizations like the Justice Project who do nothing but try to get black killers out of jail will seize upon the slightest discrepancy, get some true crime podcasters to talk about it, and just like that there's a thousand retards on Twitter pushing for the release of obviously guilty criminals.

Interestingly, Ferguson's "defense" was similarly a mix of incoherent babbling about conspiracy and claims of being misidentified by everyone, including those who actually physically stopped him and had him IN THEIR HANDS.

But he went the extra step of referring to himself in third person.

What IS it about the pathology of these guys?

Narcissism combined with a low iq.

Judge has let him rant for a half hour now, this is amazing.
They don't want it reversed because they deprived him of his constitutional right to defend himself. The fact that he chose to do it in the most idiotic manner imaginable really doesn't matter, that's his own doing.

They legitimately think they can talk their way out of these things. So did Ted Bundy, although he at least pursued his defense in a manner consistent with someone with some grasp of the law he was arguing about.

Wasn't Bundy actually complimented by the judge on his legal talents? Obviously didn't help him out in the end, but he definitely had a higher grade of fool for his client than Brooks does.

Na. 4chan's Magical Negro post talks about this. Due to the complete lack of awareness of time the dumbest of the dumb have, it is impossible for a man like him to believe in any sort of linear sequence of events, or even the past or the future. To Darrel Brooks, he exists solely in the present, with the man who ran over all those people some other Darrel Brooks who no longer exists.

Yes, but that's the last thing you want to hear from a judge because they're usually buttering you up to soften you up for what's about to happen to you next.
