Leonid Nersisyan, an Armenian security analyst, told RFE/RL that Yerevan is unlikely to quit Moscow's security umbrella without "a real alternative for balancing out the negative consequences of that decision."

Such consequences, he said, would include the threat of "full-scale invasion" by an emboldened Azerbaijan and its staunch ally Turkey, for whom Armenia's CSTO membership is still a deterrent, as well as the very real prospect of retribution from Russia.

"Russia is not providing help to Armenia," Nersisyan told RFE/RL. "But it can still do a lot of harm if Yerevan leaves the CSTO.""

Pulled this from an article from yesterday. It says they are aren't leaving the CSTO and for the reason I implied. There is no one else. Do you have something different?
Armenia is declaring to Russia that it is very unhappy and wants the asspats it believes it is due from Moscow as a member of the CSTO. Withdrawal is very unlikely no matter how much the Armenian PM says "welllllll, we could leave..."

Two most likely outcomes are Russia reaffirms its commitment, or Armenia's membership in the CSTO slowly becomes more of an on paper only thing

Hey, I used to hate niggers too, until Ye named the Jew. Now they’re honorary Aryans. Why, a former staff member swears that Ye re-enacted the “Das Rite” video.

I don't disagree those could be possibilities. Another one could be the West stepping in to arm them just to piss off Russia. But AZ is Turkey's bitch and EU is buying fuel from AZ and certainly can't afford to lose a supplier right now. So I really don't know how it will play out but no one is legitimately expecting Armenia to leave and be alone. If they left today, they wouldn't be here by Christmas. (Western or Eastern European).
The claim was made that they had left already. That's what I wanted to know more about.

E: sorry for so much OT stuff but since I'm at it, someone mentioned (I'm pretty sure in this thread) that something happened between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan but didn't elaborate. Anyone know what that was about?

i remember reading about armenia declaring that they intended to withdraw unless the alliance steps in and helps defend them against the turks, but now the closest i can find is this:

Russia: ok ukraine you need to evacuate your civilians, in fact we'll pay you and supply you the resources to evac them if you comply
Ukraine: no fuck you
Russia: well ok I'm sorry for any collateral damage then *bombs*
Ukraine: WTF evil russia murdering our civilians intentionally?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Tragic for the kid, but Ukraine's not out here trying to protect their people. Shit, if anything their president is the one giving out guns to kids and instructing them to shoot Russians on sight.

Yeah it's just posturing. Unfortunately, it's all they can do. A fair amount of mid range armaments and training would let either side take a decisive edge but neither side has gotten those yet because of CSTO and EU (in the form of pressure they could put on Turkey, because it would be Turkey arming them.) Kinda rough life when two of your neighbors wanna genocide you real good. So they're in no position to walk away in reality, unless they have some kind of immediate agreement to take effect to protect them.

I feel for Armenia, caught between the two former empires each coping and dilating for more land and subjects.
Should definitely not occupy Azeri land though.
All of these conflicts are because of one important liberal lie - the lie that ethnicity is antiquated and irrelevant, and making decisions based on tribe is bigotry.
If we would have normal elites and leaders, when there's a war and then borders get redrawn, they should always include demographic studies and population exchanges, with the mention that populations that remain "behind enemy lines" must stop seething and integrate, or they get deported.
It's literally all that it takes, recognize ethnicity as a legitimate organizing factor, imperfect, yet legitimate.

More fresh footage. Kharkov getting pummeled by arrivals. Still no internet and power in large parts of the country.

Edit: Better footage. Can actually see the lights go out.

Must say, 4chan has been much better without Ukrainian posters. No hordes of bots posting clumsy NATO propaganda or BBC threads. Next step should be disconnecting leafs from the internet. Maybe if we all ask General Armageddon real nice...
"The Ukrainian media reported via smoke signals that the war's almost won and Russia's on the verge of collapse any day now."

Looking forward to watching these babies slam into Ammurrican carriers.

Yes, let the hypocrisy flow through you. There's innumerable reports of children and civilians being killed by Ukre shelling in Donbass.

Oh, I can also remember when the Ukres dropped mines shaped as a toy to blow the limbs of any unfortunate passer-by. Man, those Ukres really have love for people living in separatist areas, don't they?

It's been such a wild ride to see (former?!?) hard right nationalists seething against... nationalism?
So when YOU do it, all's great. When people that dislike you do "fascism" and nationalism, they're devils.
This is such Semitic behavior from our Russian friends.
Is nationalism good or bad fuckers, make a decision.
In this picture, Spencer's former fatwaifu, not really a good exemplar of Russian beauty tbh, one of their very worst, can find better at the bar for a coffee.
Obviously she's now a complete Russian shill, which makes you wonder how many of these people were just infiltrators in the West.

Number 1 is believable, 2 is far-fetched considering that the Russian jet would have to enter Ukrainian airspace, and the third... a propeller drone somehow shot down a variable wing sweep attack jet?
Ukronazi simps will ignore this video, since it shows Ukraine doing to its own citizens as far back as 2014 what they accuse Russia of doing now.

At least show what the separatists were doing in civilian areas.

The rhetoric that "one day, for no reason at all..." Ukrainians simply decided to shell people because they had nothing better to do is not just delusional, it has to be malice.

The "toy shaped" mine is literal anti-Soviet propaganda from the 1980s Afghan war era.
For fuck's sake, the Russians are using a deliberate misrepresentation of facts created by Americans to villainize Soviets, after they used a weapon they reverse engineered from American butterfly mines... to villainize Ukrainians for using a weapon they inherited from the Soviets. Fuck this gay Earth.

Regarding the propaganda in this war. Why is it we can actually get video of bombs and artillery actually hitting buildings, bombs and people, but every single time a Russian or Ukraine aircraft is supposedly shot out of the sky all we ever get is stock photos or pictures of rubble on the ground?

I'm not claiming that no Russian or Ukraine aircraft have been shot down, but with the supposedly hundreds of Russian aircraft getting shot out of the sky, which Russia supposedly didn't have and couldn't maintain, where's the footage?

Those Turk drones ended up being the real deal, where's the visual proof that shahed-136's are actually destroying targets?

This is why I can't indulge is slapfighting over this war, 75% of it isn't real and it's just members reposting propaganda like it's a sportsball game instead of real life.

Yeah, you're not a khokhol fanboy at all. You also have a serious case of conveniently memory-holing events that have a lot of bearing in the present situation.

-planes fly high in the sky
-planes move fast as fuck
-planes can be above clouds
-anti air missiles move even faster than the planes themselves

airplane kills happen at very high speed and are over very fast. difficult to catch on film for some civilian on the ground with an iphone camera.

There are some sites keeping track, but visuals tend to be rare, here's some of the more exotic type:
Here's a database of incidents and destroyed aircraft over Ukraine:
Oh, and aircraft can crash in contested areas, so you obviously don't risk your man and expose them to heavy shelling and gunfire just so they can take pics and video of wreckage.

Russian jet would have to enter Ukrainian airspace
The Russians have destroyed most of Ukraine's actually decent Soviet-era air defence, a lot of what they have now is Western crap, so this wouldn't be an issue.

Leaving that aside, MiG-31's don't have shitty short range missiles like American AMRAAM-ERs, they have R-37s.
