I'd say this is in line with any realistic prediction of PA, so no dooming is required. I'd classify PA as Lean Blue, definitely not tossup.

The counties of Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Bucks and Allegheny decide PA's elections. The other 63 counties like Beaver, Juniata, Pike and Tunkhannock are electorally irrelevant.

Out in really remote counties like Forest, Sullivan and Tioga they mostly ignore Harrisburg and keep to themselves.

To add to this, thinking that TPS is ONLY Just In Time is preposterous as it's oy a subset of the the larger system. It's aimed at reducing (excess) inventory waste. In classical TPS, there's another 6 waste types with various solutions/mitigation methods. You can think that Just In Time is stupid since it assumes a best case scenario without rejecting the rest of the system.

Just to shore up your point, its not just Toyota, that's how all modern manufacturing works now. Its a corner stone to reducing waste. It costs money to store stuff at best, at worst the design changes and you have to scrap all the stuff you already made.

Pretty sure Communists did not point to their higher quality cars, more productive factories, and displacement of American industry in the global market as a "cope," because, uh, unlike Toyota, they did none of those things.
