Well he can't exactly weasel his way out of playing this unless he wants to ruin the autism schedule. This might be fun.

He is just going to do the same thing like he did with whatever Resident Evil (3, I think?) remake there was, where he literally put the controller down until his chat told him what to do. Gametrekker going to burn quite a few SSI checks for this one.

At the end of next week, he’ll hold Mario Rabbids 2 hostage unless someone sends him eShop credit, just like he did for Splatoon 3. Then, a week later, CoD MWII releases and he’ll bitch that he had to spend $70 on that. Then about another week after that, he’ll have to buy Sonic Frontiers and God of War Ragnarok back-to-back. This will almost certainly result in him either ducking Sonic Frontiers or holding it hostage. Finally, a little over a week after those, he has to buy Pokémon Scarlet/Violet. I know there have been much more packed “hardcore gaming seasons,” but the begging only increases every year and I don’t think it’s standard for this many games to release this close together.

What Phail lacks is ambition. I've often said his life comes off as attempting to realize the american dream - home, wife, fancy car, envious job where you sit at home all day playing games, even had a second property on the other side of the country. But he lacks any sense of personal desire besides the endorphin hit he gets from alcohol and simply 'winning' on WWE Champs.

I like reading these naive posts from obvious first-world citizens.

Phil is a beggar, his ambition is already realized as long as he can keep begging and making a living from it. In third world countries where begging is more prevalent, everyone already knows that this is all they really want in life, to sit there, do as little and possible to keep going by suckling on the charity of strangers. You very quickly learn that this is all there is to their existence. Work opportunities? Shelter? Warm meals? Irrelevant, what they want is to beg, and if you give them more money than they can spend in a month they'll be right back at it as soon as it runs out. The one thing that bothers a beggar is when people get in the way of their begging.

That is their life, that is their ambition, that is their entire reason for being. It's hard to grasp such an existence for most people, but it's neither rare nor complex or hard to understand.

Phil just happens to be the most successful and most visible beggar in human history, and that is hilarious.

How many gameplay videos will Phil be watching this morning to try and remember what to do? Seriously, the reviews state that the game does NOT hold your hand. That, and the fact that the first part borders on being painfully slow.

Guess we're in for a "if you're watching on demand..." type of stream.

The only difficulty that Phail only plays is Easy difficulty, proving how shit he is at fighting games, regardless if it was simplistic or not.
