As someone who likes economics this triggers me so much, this dude talks proudly about his degree in business and doesn't understand why gold is money, and him not knowing if diamonds are used for anything other than jewelry shows of much of a manchild he is since anyone that ever used tools know about diamonds being used in them, this reminds me of how when he did the house tour he showed he had no tools in his garage, only a manchild soycreature doesn't even own a drill at 40.

I'm gonna be a huge moral-fag for once and say that there's something really distasteful about making a Halloween event out of and rating the sickening fate of real people on a scale.

I've watched True Crime stuff before too, but I don't usually act as if the fate of these people exists purely for my own entertainment and show such a callous disregard as Dave. His reactions seems exactly the same as someone might react to a fictional spooky story. It's probably especially impactful because the disregard is coming from such a 'comfortable' person, who would be rattled by 1% intensity of what happened to these people.

Phil's rattled by a parcel being a few minutes later than he expects, he'd never cope.

He's become so disconnected from reality that there's no way he could perceive it as real. He spends time talking at a list of pseudonyms most of the time, with his only forms of human contact being people who are paid to interact with him (that includes the momwife).

maybe I'm just fucked up but it's not unusual for me and a friend of mine to watch vids like Rob's and get a lil giggle.

was one video I saw, was about like, some doctor who was stalking a family, when they caught him he had a journal talking about how he was about to begin his experiments on "the rat people".

was another story about an old man who got lost in the tunnels underneath walmart and died there. the entire concept is a fucking cartoon. why does walmart have a fucking minotaurs labyrinth under there? why was it built to block cellphone reception so he couldn't even call for help? the entire thing was funny as fuck due to the absurdity of it.

iunno, maybe I'm just being a faggot but for all the shitty things phil has done or for the things he can be mocked for, "laughed at a fucked up story" doesn't seem to be the best hill to die on, especially fer people on a place like this?

I think if we had any actual indication that Phil had any sort of dark macabre sense of humour it would go over better. I find fucked up things very funny, and most importantly I can make fucked up things funny to people around me.

If Phil had any sense or delivery besides door dash, he'd be able to end those stories with a crypt keeper esque joke. It's low hanging fruit, sure but anything is better than typical Phil laziness

Just for fun, I’d like to analyze why his WWE sim matches are the worst thing ever, using the latest one as an example. Let’s start with the fact that Phil doesn’t even create his own characters, so there’s no audience participation aspect where you can request a character you want to see. Second, Phil doesn’t use any real wrestlers. Instead, it’s always fictional characters and lolcows. The lineup this time was extra shitty, featuring such great choices as a generic skeleton (followed by Jack Skellington), Sulley from Monsters, Inc. in a Halloween event, the football zombie from “Plants vs. Nightmares,” and shit like Jaws (who was clearly just a palette swap of Bigfoot). Phil can’t even recycle his own content correctly; LowTierGod gets to be in the Halloween Royal Rumble but not Gengar? We also have no idea what stats are given to these characters, which leads to characters like Chucky and Stay-Puft dominating the match while Freddy Krueger and Nemesis get defeated within seconds of appearing. Of course all these problems pale in comparison to the truly insufferable part, Phil’s commentary, which consists of shouting exactly what’s happening on the screen and doing the most obnoxious screeches ever unleashed by someone not named Etika. These things are the worst but I can’t stop watching them during every Phil event because punishing myself is important.
