Right now we're in the interregnum between Ukrainian success and the resumption of the war of attrition. Ukrainian offensives are getting bogged down and have lost momentum due to the temporary rasputitsa and stronger Russian resistance. Russia's objective here is to gain time to be able to deploy the new conscripts/volunteers and equipment to plug the gaps in the front. It's obvious that the purpose of the Russian forces in Belarus is to pull Ukre troops from the front and thus lessen the pressure on the eastern front.
Not only this, it gives Russia an opportunity to stash conscripts there to train them up, then after some time they can be swapped out for new recruits and sent to the front.

Don't know if this is western disinfo or not, but, according to the Washington Post, Iran plans to send ballistic missiles to Russia. These include the Fateh-110 (650kg warhead, 300km range) and Zolfaghar (450kg warhead, 700km range), as well as more drones and advisors to train Russian troops. Pretty bizarre. Back in 2020, when UN restrictions against Iran importing & exporting arms were set to expire on October 18, the US was upset and demanding the restrictions be extended because they were scared that Russia would export advanced arms to Iran. Fast forward to today, and it's the other way around.

Both Russia and Iran are denying the veracity of this report, but they've lied about this sort of thing before. The Washington Post reported on Iran sending Shahed-136 loitering munitions to Russia, which Russia and Iran denied, then evidence came out of Russia using Shahed-136 drones. Here are photos of wreckage from Shahed-136 drones after hitting targets in Ukraine:

And here's a launch rack filled with Shahed-136 drones for comparison:

Hilariously, there was even an incident on October 12th where a Ukrainian MiG-29 tried to shoot down a Shahed-136, then was shot down itself when it flew too close to the drone.

Just for reference, the Russians have renamed their Shahed-136 drones as Geranium-2 drones.

Maybe this is proof that the Russians are running out of missiles or maybe the Iranians just want their equipment tested out on a NATO enemy. Either way, I'm really enjoying the plot twists in this war and hope for more to come.

My feeling is that the troops in Belarus are mostly freshly mobilized sods who are in training anyway. Might as well put them in a place where they can be vaguely threatening until they are ready to be shipped to units.
That would be the smarter thing to do, as it would enable them to both get some training done while also fulfilling a strategically useful role of tying down more ukrainian forces away from the frontlines at no risk to their own lives or equipment or whatever armor they have left there.....

.....which makes me think its almost certainly not the case given what we have seen of russia's strategic genius thus far, and they are just gonna be ordered to march through the chernobyl exclusion zone.....again.....for fuck sake russia..... to kyiv without armored or air support or even mechanised transportation (due to whatever vehicles they had left being sold off in previous weeks without informing high command) with the promise that the entire ukrainian army already surrendered and all they have to do is deal with stragglers, and that they only had to carry five bullets each because of how little resistance they would face.

if putin wanted "peaceful resolution" he would order the troops back home and have peace within a day
Its telling how even after like 9 months, professional and amateur russiaboos still cant figure out a way to justify the fact russia invaded ukraine in a way that aligns with whatever narrative they are consooming, and thus its just straight up ignored and the war is treated as if it just spontaneously started out of nowhere with no fault on russia or putin whatsoever and that there must be a compromise reached where russia is allowed to keep >=50% of what it wants as compromise is always the right thing or something.

The ones who are beaten down are vodka niggers who talk shit against other and getting hit because of that
Have I forgot to mention, that you are simping for niggers who can't handle weaponry without killing each other?

a White man getting mogged by his minority "compatriots" for a racially insensitive joke- this happens only in multikulti shitholes full of shitskin muslims, like russia. And Putin wants to turn Ukraine to the same
Anti-White faggots cheer for putin's destruction of ethnically White Ukraine

However, this development is more disturbing

It's not a warcrime if the side they're cheering on does it, but it's '"omg send in the Navy Seals" if their SS larpers get what's coming to them. As a JSOC team has probably in there for some time, and UA is still losing, or to be more accurate, failing to make significant gains, this flailing and seethe is how they cope. Don't take them seriously.

However, this development is more disturbing

Article 5 isn't automatically invoked if a member country engages or otherwise provokes conflict with another country. Poland being Poland and full of, well, Poles who are ignoring centuries of history, most notably the promises made by the West to have Poland's back, only to cuck out and leave Poland holding the bag, is going to be disappointed once again.

Get ready, Kurwachen; here's you chance to put those big bad words into action. Don't let us down.
Maybe not, but if you think for even one second the US and NATO would not step in if Russia started bombing Poland you are delusional.

Complete disinformation. Russia has a surplus of advanced weapons and would never need to turn to a third world shithole for help.

feline is getting deranged, he believes some rando literallywhos schizo tweet as it was acutally true. russia has been talking about thousands of NATO/polish mercs fighting for Ukraine for months, while never providing any proof

lighter fare:
russian tank driver gets shell shocked, keeps driving in circles:

he seems to come out of it, gets out of his tank to inspect the damages. Watch till the end:

Belgorod: russain AA (likely of S-300 family) fails to intercept Ukrainian missile

"No relly guyz! Russia could steamroll Poland and da Baltics and the HATO won't do shit cuz Russia Stronk!"

I trust NATO actually being useful dozens of times more than the on paper only CSTO, which Russia completely ignored when Azerbaijan was throwing a tandrum at Armenia again.

Sure it's  possible that NATO won't do shit if Russia spergs out again and says "Baltics and Poland are Russian clay!", just like how it's  possible China and India will completely throw Russia under the bus, but look how much NATO countries are supporting Ukraine, a country that while a close NATO ally, isn't actually apart of NATO.

Russia couldn't take Kharkiv, a city 25 km from it's border
I don't think they should be planning on taking on NATO next

Must really hurt to have to people you looked up to tell you to GTFO out of Deutschland

When Syria brewed with civil war, Turkish "War Room" (deep state) simply armed Turcomen and other populations with guns on the sly and started IRA style armed rebellions instead of, y'know, trying to bumrush with a paper tiger. You can slide trucks full of guns on the sly and airdrop guns to your people and start insurgencies.

But oh well, it seems Russians have even less love of subtlety than us.
That was what the LPR/DPR were. Although there was a shit ton of mercenaries, Russian volunteers and regular army "in training exercises"
Any theories for the odd buildup of russian forces in belarus these past days?, you don't just move kilometers worth of equipment there for nothing. I've seen many speculate on a russian push from belarus but others say it's actually a distraction to get some ukie troops off of the east.
The most sensible theory is that they're asking Belarus to provide the training due to Russia sending the instructors into combat early in the war.

The amount of money Elon needs to keep the 20,000 Starlink terminals in Ukraine operating is less than the cost of last week’s Russian missile strike. SpaceX has a shoestring budget and has spent $80 million of its own money to keep Starlink operating.
K, and they haven't reigned in that diplomat who thought he was daddy big dick. Yes, you're winning but don't act like the infinite resource hack hasn't been activated for you.

For a country that hasn't won yet, the Ukrainians are bordering on karmic hubris.

That makes quite a bit of sense. Attempting to open a front in the North with the reservists will fall apart even faster than the Donbass area has
