Cow Chop only got worse after Trevor left. I had a conversation with both Asher and Matt (the Skateboarder dude) on reddit, and their stories both had the same problems being their main talking points. Apparently James saw the writing on the wall and chose to leave at the right time.

Kdin really dropped that bomb for attention and his stream to cap out around 190-200ish.
He normally has about 80-100 per stream

Videos that have not aged well number 42069. Also doesn't help that I think Aleks mentioned that James was trying to groom Trevor into taking over the sinking ship that was their project, and when that failed he left Aleks and Brett to managed the sailing trashfire that was their channel at that point.

I am glad Trevor has moved on and is working under Schlatt (one of the few content creators I actually have some degree of respect for, even with the horrid "influencer" company he keeps) where his skill and talent seem to be respected and rewarded.

Not a huge surprise that Brett and Alex were asshats with massive chips on their shoulders. Also not surprising that James was the best of the three and actually apologized for all the crap he went through.

Cow chop produced great videos, but its clear that everything about it was managed fucking terribly and there were lots of ego's in the room vying for control.

How the fuck can a company who's main profit source was saying kid diddling and gay jokes for over 5 years straight become so pussified that they turn into blubbering balls of shit the moment someone says "they were mean to me"? I hope they realize that this is annihilating their fanbase from both ends of the line every time they do this. The people who like edgy shit and offensive jokes are going to leave and hate them for what they've become (t. guy who liked RT years ago, and likes edgy shit and offensive jokes), and the easily offended wimps will leave and hate them because nothing is ever good enough for that crowd.

How to destroy your company 101. Fuck everyone at RT at this point. They deserve this for pandering to the worst audience possible, while gutting their core fanbase who pulled them up from nothing to where they are now because they had the wrong opinion on how they wanted to be entertained. Oh, and fuck Kdin and Mica too, you were worthless to the company and content even in your prime.

The company got sold to a corporate entity. They were essentially doomed to this path then.

Didn't Brett mock Asher's mental health as well and he had a breakdown at some point? That and the podcast episode where they dissed him were so fucking scummy, no idea why people don't talk about that more when it happened. Not surprising considering Brett was from RoosterTeeth and got them to sign on with them, he always was a prick. Funny how even Trevor says how stupid the LA move was, supposedly hurting for money yet they move to one of the most expensive places in the West lol.

Geoff strikes me as someone who is only there to be “the face” of the company these days. He was originally in charge of Achieviment Hunter which eventually became Let’s Play, which was mainly just him and his friends playing video games and doing stupid shit together like you do with friends. All the shows he started trying to do got put out and were really popular, but got canceled and essentially erased(Shenanigans, Haunter). Eventually he gets “promoted” to some position that takes him off-camera and replaced with diversity hires. His friends leave or get out as sex pests, he gets brought out to be lambasted by new hires for being himself and has to demean himself, and when stuff goes down, people blame him as “the face”, even when it wasn’t his call to make.

Dude does actually care, but I’d imagine he’s so beaten down at this point, he just goes along with whatever he’s told because there’s no other choice left. He’s essentially stuck going down with the ship, and I hope once said ship does sink, he’s able to get away from all of it and be happy again.

Literally the only videos I enjoyed watching anymore were with Matt. I don't know how he became my fave, but maybe it's just because he's been such a stable presence and keeps his mouth shut.

I will always love the old AH Let's Plays, but I have only ever cared about Achievement Hunter and some of RVB. Their bro culture is fine, it was just never meant to remain in a company on this scale. Success was the worst thing that ever happened to them, and now they are completely captured by insane mobs.

Doesn't this seem like the perfect reason for WB to cut them off?

They made Asher get a nipple piercing very much against his will, and yet people wondered why at the time he immediately had a huge drop in mental stability. Imagine getting a very sensitive and private area of your body painfully used for views and clicks.
