Yep that's the reason commercials for a lot of household products were designed to target females up until sometime in the 90's and even a little after. Men did the earning and women did the shopping / money management.

I saw the Harvard/Harris Poll on RealClearPolitics earlier. The issues democrats are focused on are mindbogglingly myopic:

1. No one except the media and those in DC give a fuck about Jan 6th. How many times does this need to be repeated?

2. Women's Rights/Abortion: Not a terrible issue to focus on but not top 5. You know what crowd has the biggest turnout? Those from age 65-74 aka PEOPLE ON FIXED INCOME, WHO ARE VULNERABLE TO INFLATION. The women that are in this bracket have passed menopause years ago and the issue does't affect them directly, but ya know what does? Inflation and economic issues. SS might increase next year but money is tight now. Combine that with democrats erasure of women via trans issues, and the fact that those who it does affect (ages 18-29,) don't turn out to vote, thus nullifying this issue. Women with children are more concerned about crime than abortion access anyway.

3. Climate Change: Always been there for the democrats, but climate change is not nuking my 401(k). It might make a difference if Florida was a battleground state, but its solidly red now.

4. Guns: Yes its easy to get mad at guns with the media focus on school shootings, but localized crime in communities is a much bigger issue. People getting stabbed in public and open air drug lounges in the streets are getting more focus than guns. People no longer feel safe in their communities and its not due to guns, but liberal prosecutors and anti-police sentiments from 2020. The gun debate only wins on college campus' and cities, not battleground suburbia.

5. Economy and jobs: Bidens insane spending and printing money got us into this mess. The economy is not strong and I am not getting any richer thanks to him being in office. The same can be said for everyone else in the nation who doesn't make $10 million +. Gas prices, insurance, energy, food, furniture, basic consumer goods are out of control. This should be the number 1 issue but it isnt. Maybe thats a good thing though because every time they try to solve it, they make it 10x worse. Egging on Ukraine by writing blank checks to them has not helped either.

Regarding the DC circuit issue I'm not sure how it could be rectified but I hope it is. Power was never meant to be concentrated in such a way, the Founders weren't stupid and were just as familiar with kangaroo courts and fuckery as we are, they dealt with it their entire lives and it inspired them to make a new country ffs.

A group of protesters crashed a press conference being held by Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker, with one reportedly calling him a "house n-----."
