that depends, usually drones are taken down with missiles that can track and hit them, shooting at them works if you can land enough bullets at sensitive parts, for flaks like artillery being shot at the air the shrapnel might damage it enough that a drone could be down but i doubt it, drones aren't that weak even kamikaze ones
'enough' - SPAAG platforms like the Shilkas which both sides utilize are using 23mm autocannons, newer Tunguskas use 30mm ones. No matter the round type, the kite is going down if hit. The problem lies with, uhh - actually fuck if I know where the problem lies but I'll happily read about it, likely it's something to do with doctrine, logistics, and the AA systems currently in use.

The current state if Europe is “desirable to live in.” Notice how they’re not migrating to Russia.
Nobody immigrates to Russia other than Central Asian migrant workers and Russians from the former Soviet republics. The country has suffered incredible brain drain and loss of talent because of emigration since the 1990s and now it's getting even worse. This along with massive corruption explains why Russia is so technologically and economically backward compared to the West and makes/innovates nothing of value.

"Upper Volta with missiles" as The Economist described the Soviet economy in the late 1970s.

Again, look how upset the NATO shill gets at the fact that Ukraine won't get to slaughter the civilian population of Kherson like they did in Bucha. He just wanted to see residential buildings get shelled and civilians thrown into mass graves, you guys. He's totally not a bad guy.

That video is just pure comedy gold from whining about the holocaust, atom bombs, KKK etc. to portraying Ukraine as the warmonger faction despite Russia starting it

Even if someone doesn't support Russia I can't see how they could support Ukraine without being disingenuous, misinformed, or willingly supportive of the cathedral's agenda.
From an American perspective, Russia keeps fucking with us. They keep trying to divide Americans with culture war bullshit and destabilize us. I'm not saying the US is innocent either. The Cold War never ended, it just graduated from military to psyops.

Any American president would be likely to send weapons and aid to Ukraine. We will need to restock our arsenal, and that means American jobs and GDP during a recession. We also get to test the real-world effectiveness of our tactics and equipment against Russia without having to lose American lives.

Ukrainians themselves are willing to fight to defend their homeland. No matter what pressure the US is putting on their government to keep the war going, the troops would surrender or revolt if they didn't have the will to fight. That is not happening.

Since they are, why not give them the best equipment possible to do it with? It benefits us both.
I don't think Russia's politicians are saints or anything, I just think the Russian people stand against the tranny-worshiping bullshit we have going on in the West, though I ultimately feel bad for both sides' troops caught up in this political shitshow of a war.
The "tranny-worshipping bullshit" is a mirage. People in general in the US don't support it, but the media over-exposes it and astroturfs support for it to try to demoralize people. Coincidentally, consumption of media and diversity content in general continues to nosedive.
People here unironically going off about vatniggers or hohoniggers or whatever else are acting retarded.
I absolutely agree. It's tiresome to scroll past all the autism. This is not a sport, people are dying and their lives are being ruined. End of rant.

Per Wikipedia:
The Republic of Upper Volta was a landlocked West African country established on 11 December 1958 as a self-governing colony within the French Community. Before becoming autonomous, it had been part of the French Union as the French Upper Volta. On 5 August 1960, it gained full independence from France. On 4 August 1984, it changed its name to Burkina Faso.
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

Propably detection and current systems designed for bigger targets.

Which makes it genuinely one of the most incomprehensibly fucking stupid decisions in history that putin and friends did not think that the US wouldnt use the opportunity it had just been given to send russia back to the 1920s after russia has been going out of its way to screw the US over since.....well the 1920s, and in such a way that it would bring all imaginable mainstream interests within the US, from defence interests to geopolitical interests to internal party political interests to business interests to ideological interests to even freakin moral interests together in perfect alignment because of how much of an impotent and vulnerable scumfuck russia has been shown to be.

Frankly the indignant expectation that the US should refuse to act according to its own interests, short term and long term, against its most insufferable geopolotical enemy, in a way that also ticks every morality box and also will likely make it a bunch of extra profits and perks going forwards at barely any risk to itself, is about as retarded as the indignant expectation that ukraine should refuse to fight back and just meekly accept conquest because violence bad and russia is the real victim

This was a trap 1000% of russia's making, and one that even the US repeatedly and openly warned it would blow up in its face, so even taking away the moral aspect of its invasion russia is worthy of zero sympathy or pity for how badly it fucked itself up going forwards

I think the problem is developing a system to detect drones that will reliably filter out birds and shit. Although it would be hilarious to see a battery of Bofors guns linked up to such a thing engage a flock of seagulls

My best guesses for what avenues they will pursue: 1) optical detection systems paired with radar to provide fire control for AA guns 2) jammers everywhere so you can't even talk to your drone without line of sight communication via laser

That all sounds good but when you can't even see a man in a dress at a cocktail party, and make a weird face about it, without losing your company none of this matters. They are power hungry and destroy anyone slightly in their way with the help of a complicit government and media. Not an ideal situation by any stretch.

Detection is one problem, the other is size and maneuvering. Plane-Style drones are still tiny, and mechanical accuracy that was "good enough" to hit a full sized aircraft simply is too unreliable against small aircraft. Plane-Style drones still conform to some basic flight assumptions about maneuvering speed and how much they can change their direction and speed at a given time. Quad drones fuck this up massively, being exceptionally mobile, at a moments notice, in ways that would make even the most nimble helicopter jealous. If you fire guns at where the drone is, you'll miss. Trying to fire at where it will be is exponentially more difficult as the number of places it could go before the rounds reach it climbs.

Similar problem for missiles, a sufficiently small missile doesn't have the explosive load to rely on "close enough" to kill the target, and a drone can maneuver in a way that a missile can't easily account for, leading to abysmal hit rates, and worse proximity kill rates. Making the missile larger to increase that proximity kill potential amplifies the maneuvering advantage of the drone, and starts to approach the point where the countermeasure is more expensive and less effective than the weapon its trying to kill. If the drone costs $10k and it'll cost $50k in ordinance to reliably kill it, you might as well buy five drones and send them off to kill the enemy.

When it comes to anti-drone tech, EM based stuff seems like the way to go for me. Microwaves for destruction, or radio if you just want to jam the operator's signal and make it crash.

This is an example the Germans use, from Diehl, the same people who make their IRIS-T AA missiles, just a big microwave gun. Knowing where to point it might be the biggest challenge I guess, but I don't think you need to be super accurate if there's no random planes to hit accidentally.

Not sold on the long term viability of these - its not that they won't fuck up drones left right and center, its that your literally setting off an EM flare for any possible guided weapon system. Throw up a sacrificial drone, wait until its coms get confused, then throw some missile up that'll ride that beam right down. This isn't like radar installations where convincing them to turn them on so you can kill them involves manned aircraft, drones are disposable, so you can tempt them all day long. And if they ignore a couple drones for fear of lighting up a retaliation, then you can still buzz out and bomb people remotely.

The only place I met trannies is in the psychiatric ward, and once at the endocrinologist getting denied HRT and the papers required to demand SRS and legal change of identity.
Not all Europe is retarded, and those of us that are SANE should lead over cretins that think trannies should be a normalized thing.

One of Iranian drones, maybe even both are loud like lawnmower and are running on diesel engine. They must glove like fire in thermovision.

There is just a lot of them.

Fair point. I guess it depends on the details, like the cost. I don't see how a series of antennas to make a no drone zone should be very expensive, so it might be worth having tons of cheap units littered around.

That is not how FLIR works. If you have a thermal device with a 640x480 (for example) pixel sensor and point it at the sky, you're not going to detect shit unless the target is at least the size of one "pixel" otherwise it will blend into the background.

Have you tried standing outside and cupping your hands to your ears instead? That's more appropriate for the technological level of the Polish civilization.

The cheap antenna solution ends up being stationary, which makes it an easily spotted and attacked option. Jamming is also not the best option long term as many drone platforms are already capable of autonomous operations. You're not gonna see autonomous drones find a trench and precision hand grenade it, but suicide drones, no problem. Destructive options like microwave guns are better, but need to be big, like that truck. You could make them stationary, but there's a reason that AA moved away from stationary solutions, they make even easier targets.

I'm not saying "trannies are everywhere" or even that what you said here is incorrect. I agree people should stand against them being normalized. If nothing more, for the sake of children being sold this shit. However, any tiny minority can be exponentially amplified by media and government backing, which they have. In the west, you could post a video of a black guy calling a white guy a Faggot and nothing would happen. Post a... Well anyone really, calling a tranny a Faggot and it's news for a week and the person is completely fucked (job loss, blacklisting etc). It's bullshit but it's how it is now. Hopefully not for long.

What propaganda have I ever peddled?
Unironic shilling for the Shasneed drone, for example.
remember a couple of days ago when you insisted striking civilians was based and part of war if you were the UAF
My first reaction to the Dugina bombing was stating that it was a heartbreaking thing to see.
My second reaction was that if I were in the secret service of a country that had been invaded, I would give the green light for such an op.
You should know better, and you insist on lying about what I said.
