The Walking Dead

At the same time I think that this is the only way they can save the franchise at this point, to go crazy with variants. Runners, some that use tools, screamers, just go full fucking resident evil at this point if the show is gonna continue, otherwise there's no point for the show to go on with regular ass zombies.

I'll say this, at least the last four episodes haven't sucked, even if it doesn't at all feel like the fucking culmination of like, 12+ seasons of what should be an epic finale. If anything, it feels like we're getting close to a mid-season finale.

I think this show needs zombie rape.
Realistically, I figured it's one of the first things people would do... catch a zombie, remove arms/legs/teeth, and hey it's all-you-can-rape forever until it physically falls apart. I mean your entertainment options are kind of limited in that scenario and it's not like the zombies would mind.

I know what tour talking about. But it feels a little late to just be introducing walkers that can open doors and climb

Not really. While The Walking Dead proper is ending, they're doing two more spin-offs, plus I think Fear the Walking Dead is continuing. They've also been talking about doing something with Rick and Michonne for years now.
Three spinoffs: Daryl in Europe with the variants there, Negan and Maggie in NYC, and Rick and Michonne's three movies have been turned into a spin-off too. There's also, Fear the Walking Dead.

If anything with the end of Walking Dead we'll be getting more WD shit than we've ever had.

I'd be excited about the Negan spinoff if Maggie wasn't attached to it. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a great fucking actor.

The Governor's already got that covered with Penny in the comics.

This franchise has really gone to shit. Just watched the most recent episode and they butchered Negan's character. So we're going to get a spinoff of a neutered badass, a spinoff of every winemom's favorite methhead, and a spinoff of every winemom's favorite soap opera ship. Atleast Fear The Walking Dead is so bad you can laugh at it. This show started going downhill after season 6.

They had ever opportunity to kill certain characters, yet they choose to shoot Judith? Really? Yeah, I know she’s not dead, but that was gratuitous violence to make us feel sad in the penultimate episode.

I fear the final episode is going to be nothing more than cliffhangers aimed at encouraging everyone to watch the new spin-offs (which I will not).

In case you are curious, there’s one show with Maggie and Negan in New York, another show with Daryl in Paris, and yet another with Rick and Michonne, and all three will completely shit on anything that happens in the series finale of TWD.

They owed the fans a decent ending. AMC said “fuck you” time and time again. It’s going to be real interesting to see who shows up for their sad attempt at milking money from the franchise.

Having her be there was so retarded. "Yeah, let's take this child into a gunfight, nothing bad will happen!" They keep giving Mary Suedith preferential treatment that they won't give anyone else and highlight it at every turn. They involve her in things with the adults yet don't do the same for Gracie or Herchel. I hope she dies.

rick isnt in the show and thats how they killed him off in the comics so this was the best it was gonna get since judith is now both rick and carl at the same time

Rick was killed after the conflict was over, Judith was shot during a government rebellion against armored soldiers. They could've used Aaron in Rick's place and if they hadn't killed off Sebastian they could've had the same result. The more the show has strayed from the comic the shittier it's gotten.

Yeah Judith isn't dead and this is the walking dead so getting shot in the eye isn't fatal and she can easy survive and be shown in a fast forward 20 years in the future with a cool eye patch and as a tease for a potential spin off as well

You have to be fucking shitting me.
I wish I were.

The Daryl show originally featured Carol, but Melissa McBride wisely noped the fuck out.

AMC is trying to milk this series as far as it will go, and I think they are going to be in for an unpleasant surprise. I expect some people to tune in for maybe Rick aspects, and then quickly change the channel.

Here’s a fun lil graph ending at season 9:

I'm thinking because it might be they kill her off in the Finale but they didn't want anyone asking why she wasn't getting a spin-off so they first attached her to the Daryl one and then went 'Oh she can't make it' so they wouldn't show their hand and for people to be shocked when she bites the bullet.

At least, I hope so, because her and Daryl are basically the only two from the original cast left, and it'd be fucking ridiculous if:

Daryl
Carol
Michonne
Rick
Maggie
Negan

all survive and make it to a spin-off with, I assume, some supporting characters who are going to pop in and out. I mean who's left to kill that people maybe give a shit about from the core cast?

Judith (unlikely they kill a child, especially since she just got shot)
Lydia (unlikely since they cut off her arm already, but they could go 'we didn't do it in time' I suppose)
Ezekiel
Fat Samoan dude
Priest
Eugene
Princess
Rostiea

I mean that's about it, I can't really think of who they can kill that would have the fans caring about, I'm sure the other ones I'm not named are far more likely to die but who gives a shit about lawyer girl or black deaf girl, etc.

Shit I wouldn't be surprised if none of the people I listed died and they all got a happy ending. At most, maybe one or two will die. You'd think Eugene, but they gave him a redemption arc by giving himself up etc... and now that he's grown balls and apparently upgraded his tree skills to include NAVY SEALS clearing rooms, I'm guessing he makes it. The King and his fat samoan are the most likely, I'd guess, as well as Princess and Mercer. It's an extra long episode but I doubt they'll knock off like 5-6 main characters in one go, that show lost its balls a long time ago

Edit: it's not even that the show lost its balls, it's that a bunch of executives probably went 'Wait no all those characters we can re-use in the different spin-offs and transfer them to Fear the Walking Dead' and don't want to kill the cash cow so I'm sure most of those characters will be repurposed for other shows rather than straight up murdered. Or at the very least leave the door open for ~A VERY SPECIAL EPISODE OF [BLANK] DEAD WITH A FACE YOU'VE SEEN BEFORE TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR THE BIG SURPRISE~

They're probably not going to kill anyone. There's been several opportunities to kill characters who should've died and they didn't go through with it. If anyone dies it will probably be Jerry. Regardless, I doubt most of these characters will show in the spinoffs because the executives are obsessed with the leading characters and will probably make more disposable characters in the spinoffs. If they do return it will be in the Rick & Michonne show, Fear The Walking Dead is five years behind TWD and they'd have to do another timeskip to catch up.
