It's the same reason as why most people get so damn hyper focused on their hatred for a character. They dislike the character, they don't really have a problem with the character that isn't superficial, they hate that people don't agree with them about the character, but they know that's petty and childish as fuck and thus need to make it an ethical issue. It can't just be different tastes or simple stupidity, it's because only bad people like the character I hate and thus I have to see everything about the character through the lens of 'How do they reflect the scapegoat I use to cover up my insecurities?'.

It's the same reason she hates Kylo Ren and Anduin, why they can't just be characters she thinks are bad, but have to be the worst of the worst whose fans are just desperate stupid women who won't give Lilly the succ and keep dating assholes. who aren't girlboss enough to have the correct taste.

She was already stupid enough to assume that just because someone has a paypal account to pledge to her on Patreon that means they're adults, even though anyone can make an account and get money through any number of ways at any age (comissions, donations, maybe they convinced their parents), so whatever method she chooses is probably going to be bypassed anyway because her fanbase is full of idiotic children who can't stay away from her. Case in point, Lupina.
More than that, I don't know what she think she's doing by insisting to use 19 instead of 18 years old as a metric for "adult enough." She doesn't look like any less of a creep by insisting on one single year more. If anything it looks all the more suspicious when she gets weirdly defensive about it.

As far as I can gather, it's more or less an ATLA situation where she hates that his arc is well done and that he's a good character because she thinks people need to stop holding him up as the BEST CHARACTER EVERRRR. She also said previously that Hunter (and by extention Amity) is an example of a creator not knowing when to stop inserting themselves and their favorite tropes into their work without thinking of the impact it has on the rest of the series, a trend she hates.
But that's about it. And she hasn't elaborated on any of this nearly as long as she's spoken about white favoritism.
I didn't think it was as simple as him being a white guy either, but the longer this goes on the more I can't think of any other reasons. She's openly admitted that her opinions on the white fan-favorite characters have soured because she doesn't think the PoC characters get enough attention.

She's just trying to be the victim probably. She's waiting for the totally not self-written asks to come flooding in so she can do her usual "woe is me" schtick. Sigh. Try a little harder Lily, it's getting a bit old. How any of her fans can't see past her act is frankly incredible. You could call it a cult of personality, but Lily's personality is so repulsive and repugnant that I don't see how it's possible for so many people to be so uncritical.

It's why she's been told that her gushing over black women is creepy--because to most people it just sounds like a kink she's trying to project as being woke rather than some genuine appreciation. Despite being part of a lot of these groups herself, she still treats others like some kind of zoo animal, something exotic. To her, saying that gay couples are just better than hetero ones is like saying that tigers are more interesting than whitetail deer. You see whitetail deer all the time, but tigers aren't native to these parts, so it's way cooler to get to see one of those instead.

In fact, I think that's a lot of Lily's worst takes come from this same place. She wants to fit in in these oppressed spaces that she overcompensates and it becomes racist or sexist again. Like, I'm not totally convinced she actually has anything against Asians, I just think she saw that people hate anime for perv pandering and pedophilia and just went hard on criticizing that industry and the culture creating it to the point it makes people think she has something against them. She tends to phrase her criticisms in such a way to blame white people rather than asians for the state of the anime industry. That it's just white people begging animators to make shounen about ten year old girls who have to strip to gain magical fighting powers, and to churn out body pillows and what have you. Most Japanese people don't actually like this stuff, they do it just for Right-Wing Incel boogiemen in America. She so desperately seeks validation that she ends up looking like the biggest weirdo in the room.

I think one of the times it was more blatant was with Reva from Kenobi, as despite her basically being a black female Kylo Ren, she absoloutly loves and is all there for whatever she does but can't possibly stand Kylo Ren being on screen for even a singular frame, but it's more funny since her puppets tend to be fairer/darker skinned, but Lilly himself is pale as the rest of the white people he blames everything on.
