𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

I'm a bit out of the loop. Is this still in court purgatory, or will he assume ownership and we might see Trump and others previously banned reinstated by the end of the month?

The best thing about the Musk Twitter story is that it makes the nature of Twitter general knowledge. That right there makes it less effective as a propaganda outlet no matter who controls it.

But not completely ineffective. Notice the ruling class still use TV.

Now it's Twitter dragging their heels. If Musk offers to sign a consent decree ordering him to do what he already agreed to do, the court will really have no choice but to drop the case. If they insist on taking it to trial anyway, they're not getting any damages for what they caused by themselves defaulting.

The most they'd get is the additional billion penalty. IMO. Chancery judges are generally very well regarded and I don't see anything zany coming out of them.

On the other hand, this is clownworld. They might just sit on the case until his multitude of offspring are old and grey.
Despite its name and being one of the few courts still named like the Dickens-era courts, these guys are particularly picked by Delaware to enhance its status as a corporate haven, and their judges are known for deciding cases quickly and brutally. That said, I don't think either side's case is so strong that they're going to win huge. It's more like they'll take one look at these idiots and tell them you've been in bed months, fuck already.

The ADL is enthusiastically endorsing Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter. A very bad sign.
Is this some kind of sick joke? Is this a troll? Is the ADL comparing him to Henry Ford, who enthusiastically endorsed The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and whose only problem with Hitler was he wasn't anti-Semitic ENOUGH?

And somehow they can't cite an actual source? Pretty sure Bloomberg articles usually have an url, as fake as Bloomberg itself is.
Well here's multiple recent news articles all parroting the same consensus.

EDIT: Here's the Bloomberg article

Just imagine that, Mr. Perlstein. The horrors of a major social media platform shutting protests and dissidents* down with vague "terms of service" violations.
Imagine if someone notable would be impacted by such a thing and acknowledge it in a cringe and easily meme'd way on another platform that, should it be owned by Elon Musk, could shut down protests and dissidents with vague "terms of service" violations.

Could you imagine that, Perlstein?
