She's not being lowballed. She didn't get that offer (even the better paying one that was later revealed) because the studio thinks she's not worth much. Anyone who has worked with actual Japanese people can see this for what it is: She's getting replaced. Japan doesn't fire people though, that's dishonrouabu, so they give people these kinds of offers and expect them to understand the subtle clues.

Except she was offered good pay. 4k per recording session. She just wanted 6 figures and royalties because she has her head up her own ass.
