I wouldn’t count the eggs before they hatch. As good as the situation is looking for us right now, it’s not over til Elon Musk is sitting in the director’s chair and 75% of Twitter’s employees are in the unemployment line.

The timing of matters is also highly suspect, since Musk returned to negotiations 2 weeks before the scheduled October 17th trial. It's plausible that he feigned interest to delay the trial date to find more evidence and nullify the deal.

Given not much has changed with the site since Elon exited the deal in July, I really doubt his renewed interest in the company is genuine. I guess we'll see by next friday if he bites the bullet or backs down again.
