The antipsychotic he was given then was most likely risperidone. He's spoken about it in the past, and besides psychotic disorders, the medication also used to be commonly prescribed to autistic children who frequently have meltdowns.

I knew of 2. One of them was in my classes and the other was in a ward.
Needless to say the one in the ward was kind of slow, and highly aggressive.
The other had the peculiar mixture of intellectual strengths and weaknesses one expects of the negroid by now, and it's quite lamentable really; despite clearly being articulate, he would often not apprehend the finer implications of something and dart from point to point in a superficially waxing manner, too focused on what he misunderstood, though impressively stated, to be the bigger picture to even care.
Kind of reminds me of the biograpical description of the pan-African leader Nkrumah during his Cambridge University Philosophy department days, really. It would stand to fail him as he lacked the rigour to engage in a serious doctoral dissertation on any of the subject matter he essentially failed to apprehend.
