It also opens up the possibility of having horses which is a massive benefit in helping a very traumatized community heal.
This sentence gave me a little lol. What exactly is the 'massive benefit' of a whole horse to the 'VERY traumatized community'? What are they going to do with the horses?!?!

Rhetorical question, I already know what they're going to do with the horse. (:_(

If they're smart, they'll disguise it as Kevin and then try to sell Kevin to the glue factory while keeping the horse.

That's a big if, my friend.

So what's the plan here with manpower for the Tranchspantion? They don't have many, if any field troons left. Kevin and Jen don't work. El Gordo is long gone. They're gonna need more than just griftbux for this, they'll need troons.

Penny's "full-time collared slave" Kevin won't even put a kettle on to make his "master" some tea while he's refilling his fucking Hawaiian Punch. "Can't Jen just do it?"

It's nice to see confirmation that the interpersonal dynamic of their ~*~polycule~*~ is exactly as bad as we have all imagined it to be.

Note well that it's October 31 and they're talking about expanding to a new place within the next couple months.

The dead of winter sounds like the most asstastic time to start up a new tranche. (Or tranchise, if you will.)

I feel dumb for stating this, but I feel like they don't understand that range management is a science with 150+ years of backing. When you drive past a field and there are 20 cows in that field, it's not that the rancher picked some ear tag numbers out of a hat and hey, now there are 20 cows out there. That rancher did actual math and used actual experience to figure out how many cows could be out there without beating the shit out of the field. Because for ranchers who own that land, raping the field this year means that next year's cows are going to suffer the consequences.

But these chucklefucks.

Hey, there's too many critters in Custer County, let's lease 5 acres in Boulder County and hope it all works out for the best!

Soil pH? That's just superstition!

New grift alert?

We here at the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch started our project in 2018 in order to provide Haven for queer folk in the face of rising fascism in the United States.

From inception we have been a community driven project, here to facilitate the needs of the queer community, as best we can, because of the rising violence and legislative erasure going on in the US right now.

We are now ready to expand onto two additional properties, enhancing our ability to not only help with emergency housing and by providing work but adding the ability to offer support groups and queer events that are safe and accessible to LGBTQIA folks in and around Boulder County CO

These new properties also enable us to begin farming a full 5 acres giving us another source of income but also allowing us to help folks who are in need. It also opens up the possibility of having horses which is a massive benefit in helping a very traumatized community heal.
We would not be expanding the alpaca herd during this time so being able to relegate the male herd to one property will also help with pasture restoration.
We are asking for help to cover six months of the rent at the Boulder Co location plus funds to begin the farming operation there. This will also be used to build the encloser for the alpaca, sheep, goats, ducks and chickens that will be moved to the Boulder County location.
We are able to cover all other aspects of the expansion because of some very generous folks helping us get it done.
Help us continue our project and grow even more to help the queer community.

Can't attach screenshot right now, but they're at $303 / $4500 from 11 donors

If I ever have access to a Time Machine I would squander it by going back to show Eric Blair that not only was 1984 ringing horribly prophetic, but that Animal Farm also somehow managed to become true.

Tranimal Farm!

I salute Cryptid for bringing the glorious milk! And good for them for getting away. I don't blame them for (naively) wanting to believe in something like the tranch, but it always becomes clear very quickly if initiatives like that are for real or just a grift/cult. And the tranch is a bad one. We were clearly too generous calling the lesser farmers "serfs", seems they were more like slaves who were paying Penny to stay enslaved.

This is actually what makes their claim to want to create a “safe” space for alphabet people worrysome.
With what due respect I can muster, there are gay kids who do have to flee from unsupportive families and don’t always have friends or help enough from other sources.
Less than there used to be, but it still is a thing.

If they come to the Tranch hoping for some support from gentle but tenacious transwomen, they are going to find themselves enslaved, exploited and in massive forced debt.
Hell, if they are freshly 18 and naive, I could see Penny and Kevvie take credit cards and loans in their names for “emergency medical funds”.

These people are not dangerous because they are Troons. These people are clearly a cult and if they were Muslim or a non mainstream Christian sect, they so would be on an FBI watch list.

The same "science" that says surgically & chemically mutilated men are women makes them experts in farming you fucking bigot. Get on the right side of history.

They're going to kill the horses through neglect. Horses are comparatively far more fragile than alpacas when it comes to mishandling.

I'm trying to stay optimistic and hope that they're just using the idea of brony-tranch to scam more donations from those who want that kind of abomination to exist (they have plenty of sickos like that in Kevin's followers alone). And that's why it says "opens up the possibility of having horses", not "we're planning to have horses".

If they do get horses we need to start taking bets on when they have their first Mr. Hands incident.

I wonder if they're actually trying to move onto a property they control via their own lease agreement instead of a property that Paul controls. This is probably the most convenient cover story they can come up with that's not spilling the tea on their interpersonal drama.

Paul is going to absolutely take a bath on this place when he tries to sell it. The house itself is run down, trash covers the property, and the landscape is completely destroyed compared to when they bought it. It is a literal garbage dump.

And potentially open themselves to serious repercussions if a mishandled horse kills somebody, causes traffic accidents or various other situations in which an animal far outside the handling abilities of delusional Troons could cause.

Hey! Maybe they could adopt a trans rescue elephant and some abandoned boy-cat lions and tigers too!
I have no doubt they watched Tiger King, so that is all the education they need on safely caring for large feline predators.
