I had a feeling that was the case, but it sucks to hear that he's planning on retiring from his internet "career" after finishing up the Year of the Chud.

I'd say its more so up to Jim's health than anything. If he offers Phil some superchat money, that pig roach is extremely unlikely to say "no". Hell doing it without a cut could still be pretty beneficial to Phil financially for a short time. Jim's more insane fans would probably throw him some bones just for doing the interview.

Judging the past streams it's clear Jim just doesn't have in him anymore. I don't need Ralph or AF updates with a Metokur voiceover. It's boring and rehashed.
I wish him the best in his recovery, but if this is to be the end, it's rather sad, that such a unique personality goes out with a whimper and not a bang.

Looks like the torrent is missing a bunch of videos. The MPEG4 archive has 394, but the torrent only has 325.

Edit: Never mind, it looks like it's just that the MPEG4 archive has a bunch of duplicates. That said, it's missing everything after his February YOTC.

It really is. I don't particularly understand why he really wants to cover the Ralph circle's of boring spergery this much. He used to be a unique source of scathing commentary on a variety of things, with enough comedy to make that worthwhile. And he knew how to edit it down and keep it concise. He gave up on that a while ago to do streams instead, and while I understand that in the terms of his health, why he felt he had to give everything other than ralphamale bs away is beyond me.

Doing it from memory, but I don't think I'll be paraphrasing too much, he said "At least they think we have a lead now, but it's going to be a lot of bullshit, it's going to... *he's lost for words for a bit and much more somber* it's going to be a lot of bullshit."

So, it seems they have an idea now of what's causing the autoimmune shit, but whatever the treatment is, it's going to be rough and it's weighing heavy on his mind.

I wish him the best, I too agree that his YotC stream was wrecked by retreading all the wings stuff from the day before, but I still very much enjoy his content, and hope he still has the occasional Mornings stream as his health allows as he's going through his lot of bullshit.

TL;DW DSP "reads an e-mail" from someone and it talks about Jim, how he's going to ambush DSP and past events of him talking shit to DSP and his wife. Basically, the interview isn't going to be in good faith and will only be used to laugh at him.

I can't believe DSP would say this to a cancer patient, can't he just grant a man's dying wish? Jokes aside, It's pretty obvious at this point that he just wants someone to give him a softball. He knows Jim and he knows he's a hard hitter. It's also pathetic to see him act like he doesn't know who he is.

Late and gay, but I'd argue that the reason he even bothers with Ralph (other than the fact that he's a retard), is that, for the longest people accused him of Guntguarding. Not just due to their history together, but because he never even acknowledged Ralph. Now people are upset because that's all he seems to talks about. Hopefully he stays true to his word about No Ralph November so he can put that energy elsewhere.
