Apparently Vox Day lost $1 million in investor's money that was supposed to be used to make a movie about a pro-Confederacy comic book character. When I say lost I mean nobody can find it, the money just vanished like magic.

He got scammed, the party they trusted to act as holder of the funds in escrow until the movie was ready to go into production took the money to fund other business interests. For no return, so, yeah. As little sympathy as I usually have for Teddy Spaghetti, it appears he is the victim here.
Whether (a) the movie would have in fact ever gone into production had the funds not been stolen and (b) how Mr. 3SD IQ (just ask him) was such a gullible idiot to be scammed so easily are questions that remain unanswered. One permanently, the other, well, I wouldn't hold my breath for the answer.
