Wu seems so bizarrely obsessed with keeping her transition and her sordid past of right-wing horseshit under wraps. Honestly, she'd probably be a good 33% less crazy if she actually admitted that yes, she's a transwoman and yes, she used to have really far right-wing beliefs, but she's changed now and, in the view of herself and her fellow anti-gamergate spergs, she's a better person for it.

Instead, she tries her best to defend trans folks while diminishing her own role in the world as a transwoman, which makes her look like an awful hypocrite because she wants those people to stay "former men, now trans women" but herself to be "a woman always and forever" even though she's in the same boat as them. It's implying that, as a "natural born" woman, she's better than they are, and that they'll never be anything more than men who became women.

Other than completely self-serving tranny bullshit, Wu's beliefs are not at all progressive. Wu is an enthusiastic cheerleader for the worst aspects of corporate culture. Wu's support for Electronic Arts as some kind of example of how a company should operate is just the most obvious example. Wu's mindless fanboyism for Apple is another, although more acceptable in SJW circles because shiny things amuse them.

Sorry man, you don't even understand the game she is playing regarding gender and who her audience is. She's just holding the information back so that she can play both sides of the coin until the time comes where she needs to cash in on her gender to create a new victim narrative. Being trans isn't useful to her now, but when it is she will be very open about it.

All mockeries aside, I kind of wonder if Brianna is still battling the demons that John's own instabilities brought up. It would explain the need to try and project increasingly farcical demons on every person who so much as slights them and to continue to behave in paranoid ways, and to hide the past at all costs.

I know a friend of mine who transitioned, while still acknowledging her past, doesn't feel the need to bring it up, but she also settled a lot of those personal demons she had when she became more open about her transition and her decisions.

Indeed, I have been fortunate to know a couple of people who were open about their choices, decisions and the way being open around their circle of friends and even acquaintances seemed to calm them immensely from their previous states precisely because people were at the very least respectful if not helpful with assisting them through their transition, and this is from what we'd term "mainstream" society from well over a decade ago or more.

Let's now consider what we know of Wu's own timeline. Her transition started after/during Socially Unconcious Productions went belly up. On top of that, it's when Brianna blamed what can be assumed to have been two close friends for the company's failure, in effect driving them away in a childish spat.

Where were her friends to help her settle those demons? The sad answer is she didn't seem to have them, the only friend she really had was Frank, and she married him in the end.

Her response has been to attempt to bury as deep as possible in order to pretend that John never happened, which means that she isn't recognizing the behaviours and situations that caused John to have been such a weird pain in the arse.

Wu has talked about how he used to be a Republican in many places. It's not a secret.

Flynt's problem is that he wants to pick and choose what truth he discloses while tacking on whatever lies fit the current sob story he wants to tell, but he's not very good at keeping a story straight.

Worse for him, he can't handle real scrutiny, which is why I'll bet one of his greatest night terrors is the idea he might be forced to enter a courtroom over his lies, because there is no way in hell he would survive a halfway competent lawyer's deposition.
