There's a really interesting thing going on locally: Zeldin did an ad buy-in focusing specifically on Hochul's failures over Cashless Bail.

....There has been minimal Hochul ads and most of them boil down to "VOTE HOCHUL OR WE'LL LOSE ABORTION MORE," which isn't, as we say convincing. Officially, Hochul and Zeldin are neck-and-neck; unofficially, Zeldin's doing unexpectedly well. I don't know if it'll be enough to beat the spread enough to just fortify their way into a win anyway, but conventional wisdom was that Zeldin should not have had a hope in hell, yet here we are.

There's a really interesting thing going on locally: Zeldin did an ad buy-in focusing specifically on Hochul's failures over Cashless Bail.

....There has been minimal Hochul ads and most of them boil down to "VOTE HOCHUL OR WE'LL LOSE ABORTION MORE," which isn't, as we say convincing. Officially, Hochul and Zeldin are neck-and-neck; unofficially, Zeldin's doing unexpectedly well. I don't know if it'll be enough to beat the spread enough to just fortify their way into a win anyway, but conventional wisdom was that Zeldin should not have had a hope in hell, yet here we are.

Once again it bears reminding that last year, gabagool almost won NJ 50/50 with zero party support, because by conventional wisdom literally nobody thought he had a snowball’s chance in hell. I imagine that’s emboldened Republicans (both candidates, party officials and voters) in a lot of “impossible” areas that the field isn’t as tilted against them as they might assume.

Twenty-six percent of respondents said they "approve somewhat" of Biden's performance and an additional 22% neither approve or disapprove.

I had to check some of these because I thought they were fake. I can't believe that last one about gas. Average wasn't $5 for the majority of his term.

I just don't understand why they try to pull stunts like this. It's such an egregious lie that absolutely no one will believe. Maybe if he said gas was $3 when he took office some normies would fall for it, because it shot up early enough into his presidency that most people might not remember correctly. But this lie is so far out there, these historic gas prices were set mere months ago. Not even normies are that brain dead.
