I'm sick of my employer sending out the "please go vote" and "join our voter information livestream"... the emails are neutral, but I've never watched the livestreams, and you know what they want.

Crossing from the war thread, the claims I've seen so far are that they're on the ground to investigate and inventory foreign arms depots in the country, after recent movements and evidence that the arms are ending up on the black market. This could be a prelude to an increase, it could be a prelude to declaring it unsafe to give them more arms until they sort it out, a sort of soft bail on the country, it could be a big old nothingburger.
Whatever it ends up being, right now the headcount is pretty limited.

Because the classified documents thing is a cold fart. It was Garland going well and truly off the reservation and if nobody ever mentions it again it will be too soon. With the possibility of a diesel shortage, which will further cripple the US, I'm a bit surprised peaceful protests have not sprung up at Biden's Delaware residence or wherever he's in public. While some may be afraid of a corrupt DOJ hunting them down, others may reach the point where they have nothing left to lose and will exercise their 1st Amendment right to protest.

On the subject of the outfit, I've noticed some scummy journalism where they allude to how expensive the costume is without specifying the cost. Seems like they were trying to insinuate he's a snobby out of touch rich bastard. While $7500 is nothing to scoff at for average people, it's really nothing in the grand scheme of things. A nice leather outfit like that will absolutely run you thousands of dollars, that's just how much quality leather products cost. And considering his wealth, it's honestly kind of modest to go with a generic premade piece like this. If he wanted to flaunt his wealth he could have done so much more, gotten something custom made and embroidered with fat diamonds or some shit.
Not to simp for the man, it just pisses me off seeing these journalists trying to critique Elon for paying a normal price for a product when those same assholes gave AOC a pass for her $60k eat the rich dress.
