Some brief updates on Dave and I his trooning - sounds like he's talking himself up to it since Max got the chop:

It wouldn't surprise me if Dave ended up being the Korps's emotional/mental punching bag and they just dump their issues onto him. If he's able to give decent-sounding advice beyond Agony Aunt platitudes, he's probably the one they turn to for advice, which results in him being the one that has to help the more helpless Korps members through their fuckups.
