Inactive Nick Bate / Nickalaus B. Stoutzenberger - (Thread 3: JUDGEMENT DAY)

I totally agree with Vlad about possibly redirecting any mail you could potentially receive to the address of another Kiwi. You are in contact with Nick which is both a blessing and a curse. If you are not willing to deal with the negatives that come with it then Im sure a Kiwi here would certainly be happy to take this burden off your shoulders.
If you do not wish to post the letter you just received then perhaps you could pass that along to the respective Kiwi.

I would be willing to be one to put myself on the line for this, I can't afford a PO box though so it'd have to be my real address. That is if @Ancani wants to let me give it to her.

Thanks, guys. Your continued support and understanding means a lot to me. <3

I've decided against reading the letter--I've been trying to put my mental health first lately, and I know reading it would be pretty detrimental to me. I'm just gonna put it with the rest of the mail.

And uh...if any of you are the praying type, could you maybe pray for me? I'd really rather never have to deal with Nick ever again, period.
You're a far more restrained human being than I. Morbid curiosity can drive you down some fucked up paths.

Stoutzenberger'll never be a problem for anyone outside the Lancaster Dungeon again. Aside from the nostrils of an unlucky mortician.

I'm really sorry to hear that you had that experience Arcani. I mean honestly my curiosity is desperate to know what the content of the letter is but at the same time I know you're doing the right thing for your own health, and I can't look down on that.

I can't wait for sentencing to happen, I think knowing that he is locked in there beyond escape for at least the next ten years will be a lot more comforting for you. He's too dumb to escape and can cause you absolutely no harm nowadays. I'm almost hoping that the content of his letter is disconcerting enough to get him into even more trouble, once again it's awful you had to go through that.

Off-topic but I love the badges, if I can give CWC some money for his junk I'm sure I'll be tempted to buy some actual decent products in the future.

Fucking prick. The DA is probably a good contact.

Name: Amber Lee Czerniakowski
Assistant District Attorney
Supreme Court No: 308147
Phone Number(s): 717-299-8100 (Phone)
Address: Lancaster CO Da's Ofc
50 N Duke St
Lancaster, PA 17602

That's the Assistant District Attorney who prosecuted Nick.

It is VERY relevant to his sentencing that even while awaiting sentencing, he can't restrain himself from harassing one of his victims. It's very relevant to his likelihood to reoffend and that he still represents a threat to the community if released, so if you get this to her, the chances of it being brought up at the sentencing hearing are high.

While I'd love to see it, I'd rather the DA see it first and do whatever with it. I'd suggest only posting it, if you ever post it, and your mom is probably right you shouldn't, AFTER it has had whatever impact it could have at sentencing. You don't want to muddy the waters by putting it on the Internet before that.

As always, if your family already has a lawyer, they might want to have counsel handle contacting the DA and handing this over in some way that chain of custody and all that jazz is intact.

ETA: Speaking of which, if you haven't opened it yet, LEAVE IT UNOPENED. That goes a long way both toward showing you didn't want it AND because it is in a sealed envelope stamped by the federal government (Post Office), that it has not been tampered with.

If you don't do any of that, you could always call Lancaster County Prison and just report that a convicted child molester they have in their custody is harassing you with unwanted correspondence. I'll get that info if you need it, but his name should be enough. (The LCP prisoner lookup website is currently not working.)

tl;dr send the UNOPENED letter to the DA Amber Czerniakowski by whatever means. If the first person even to see it is an officer of the court you can't buy a chain of custody like that and it can be introduced as evidence without any reasonable challenge. It's relevant to his sentencing he's still harassing people even while awaiting sentencing. That shows a total lack of remorse and that he has no ability to stop his criminal behavior.
@Ancani
I agree with AnOminous; get the legal stuff taken care of first, then post the letter. Of course if want to just leave this mess behind you, that's fine too. Your mental and emotional well-being is more important than our content fetish.

@Ancani, follow @AnOminous's advice to the letter. Don't jeopardize your mental well-being for the sake of a bunch of spergs on the internet. You're actually helping AO when you contact the DA, because like AnOminous said, the fact he contacted you despite literally YEARS of you telling him to leave you alone shows he cares nothing for other people's well-being. That will very much help the DA make a persuasive case that Nick needs to be locked up for a long time.
I advise anyone planning on contacting Nick to use a PO Box or ghost address (if you don't know what that is, google it). It's highly unlikely he'll see daylight as a free man anytime before 2027 or so, but prison can do things to someone who's normal before they go in, let alone already crazy like Nick. Also, he's sure to tell his mom about any correspondents, and remember she's convinced Nick is innocent and was framed. She might get it into her head that you had something to do with it like Chris' parents thought the Game Place was behind all the trolling of their son.

@Ancani obviously everyone here would want to see the letter, but that is only going to cause you more harm.

There are many things you could do. @AnOminous is correct in all he has stated of course.

I believe advising the DA/Court would be wise. I have a mild concern Nick could get some sympathy from the Judge cause he is such a fucking retard. I hope the judge is purely looking at him as the disgusting stalker/pedo he truly is.

But if it can be made known at the sentencing that he has contacted you, without any doing on your part, it will reflect very badly on him and will show that he does not deserve to see the light of day.

Regardless of what the letter says, sorry, begging, sick shit etc. you don't need the further harm. Its your choice in the end whether you read it or not of course. But the fact that he sent the letter to you knowing full well you want nothing to do with him, shows he does not take your feelings into consideration at all.

What you could do, which I think would be great, and never know Nick might believe it, is go to the post office, say this letter came for the person, but she is deceased. The post office, at least where I live, will stamp the front of the envelope and check off "Deceased" AND RETURN TO SENDER.

In any event, I feel for you being put in this position again. Do what is best for you, and only you. Take care.

I thought the same originally. But that would mean pretending to be her wouldn't it? And while the plan is great as we would have a connect to Nick to fuck with him while he is rotting away, it would have to be done as an anonymous troll and not the poor girl who has suffered enough.

So yeah, awesome if it could be done, but have to be a response from Kagney Lynn Moore or something.

Another thing in addition to this, is make a request that this be done without it being introduced publicly. Or ask them to admit it under sealed or confidentiality order or something. While doubtful, if the press reports on it, they could mention that Nick sent a letter to the girl he stalked. Once the general troll population sees that, they might start harassing you to find out what the letter said etc.

Again, we all obviously want to see the letter, but not at any further harm to you. Its a shame you were placed in this position by that goof. At least take comfort in knowing he has many tough years ahead of him. I still say (hope) he is dead in 5 or less.

The best thing to do is listen to Anominous. The dude knows what he's talking about. Ignore the fucktards, we'll just have to carry on guessing the contents like what's in the briefcase in Pulp Fiction or what was it Bill Murray whispered to Scarlett Johannsson.

"hello wife poop butts poop poop butts poop butts"

It's literally nothing interesting. If someone really wants to get desperate content out of Nick, you write him.

I'm going to paraphrase from a prison guard that I found while looking to give advice. @Ancani , hope it helps.

Prison Guard said:
The law is pretty loose from the time the prisoner deposits the letter in the INSTITUTIONAL mailbox until it is in the custody of the USPS. The same applies once the institution takes possession of the mail and lasts until it is delivered to the inmates. (This is largely done to ensure that coded messages, or other contraband are not hidden within)

We can, and do on a regular basis read and STOP if necessary mail both before it is sent to the post office and after the post office delivers to our mail room. We can and do frequently "talk" to an offender who is sending communications to people who do not wish to have those communications. After advising the offender that the communication is not wanted, we order him/her to stop. If the offender does not stop-----he/she has committed a rule violation and we take administrative action. We also confiscate the offending letter/voice communication log as evidence.

Yes its all legal and has been adjudicated by various courts of law up and including the Supreme Court of the US.

Call the warden's office and talk to the secretary. The secretary will guide you to the correct person to talk to and will log your concerns. In my system you would talk to an investigator or the shift supervisor. They would handle the situation from there and I would guarantee you that you wouldn't get another letter.

I deal with this probably once or twice a month.

Personally? I'd go down this route and advise the DA to do so, though they will likely do this in addition to hammering home the point that Nick is considered dangerous.

If you're planning hi-jinx trolling plans pretending to be Anna and striking up correspondence, don't. No content of any note will be gained and it'll feed Nick's fixation on her. This isn't the award winning brave beautiful flower creator of Sonichu you're dealing with here.

If you absolutely must be his pen pal, do it as yourself or make up some other alter ego and use a Mailboxes Etc in Kentucky as the address. Just don't expect to be crowned Grand Poobah of Trolls for it and expect more shit in your life in every sense of the word.

So I make my return. I cannot call it a triumphant return, though, because I'm here due to something extremely creepy.

Nick sent me a letter.

I have yet to read it. I probably will at some point, purely out of necessity (and because I intend to scan it). But the overall point is, I'm disturbed beyond belief.

Does anyone know if it'd be possible for me to contact the prison and request that he not write to me anymore? I could probably include the chatlogs and a link to his Twitter if necessary, as well as scans of the letter. I would really feel infinitely safer if he were unable to contact me--I realize that the chances of him getting to me are nil at this point, but there's still that deep horror at him even contacting me.

Please advise.

Burn the letter without opening it, explain to the authorities what your situation is and I'm sure they'll go out of their way to keep him from writing you.

Nick can't hurt anyone anymore. He only gets in if you open his letter. Burn it.

That letter is a mixed blessing. Sick Nick did reopen a wound by mailing it, but this is proof and evidence that can warrant some serious consequences for him.

Another poster had the right idea to send it unopened to the DA or whatever other authorities that can turn the screws. This is how I'd suggest disposing of it--give it to the people paid to punish him.
