I am almost as much of a car retard as Phil, and you know what I do in cases like that? Read the manual. Car manuals are laid out so even a complete idiot can figure out what to do and find what he's looking for. They even include helpful hints like "Don't drink the gasoline" for retards like me.

I learned how to change a tire just by reading the manual, they really do spell everything out for you.

Very similar phrase but not the same, easy mistake to make.

Clear the air - This is used almost daily to retcon bad takes and prep pay pigs for the next bill/game/disaster they will need to fund.

Clear duh air - This is a theoretical state where Phil gives his side of the story that is so 100% true that everyone must accept that he did everything right and it was all tevins fault. Unfortunatly, he is currently unable to do this because he needs a huge youtuber who already likes him or the trolls need to stop changing his name on youtube or something.

It seems like every week a clip of him begging and or shitting on his audience for not tipping gets traction, then he comes on stream saying "that's not who I am, that's only one clip that's not the whole stream". DSP, if you have to make this speech every week then maybe it is who you are.

Gotta love the irony and lack of self-awareness required to make up a story about people being so impressed by his coolness and how he just takes everything in stride instead of letting things bother him. This is the guy who is currently in the midst of attempting to find someone to interview him so he can 'clear the air', ranting about coordinated efforts by people to write his name incorrectly to keep him out of YT's algorithm, rambling for a fucking hour over a 4 or 5 minute mention of him, etc.. Yes indeed, when you look at Phil, you can't help but be impressed with how cool and collected he is and how he just shrugs things off instead of letting them bother him.
