Graf is incapable of moderating a social media platform. His biases and instability will lead to arbitrary moderation and him starting beefs with people he could collaborate with, or, if he didn't start the beef, needlessly escalating it. Clairebere and ShotgunShuffle seem to be genuinely nice people, which as you said is a concern. Claire has only had to ban one person and she publicly agonised about it, but there's more than a thousand people there and there are going to be problems that she is going to have to moderate. There was a known pedo who signed up and she had no idea how to deal with it, because the instance's formal rules clashed with her personal values, and so she ended up hovering over the ban button, waiting for them to commit the tiniest technical infraction so they could be disposed of.

Are you talking about Vito? Yes, she let him stay until he broke pre-established rules, which I don't think is unreasonable. IIRC it took less than a handful of hours for him to do so. And I'm pretty sure he's not the only person she's banned.

At any rate, if you bemoan graf's emotional moderation style, then Claire's rules-based style is a preferable alternative, isn't it?

Sven the other trs guy was disturbed by seeing cartoon Cp in his face (understandably) on poast and deleted his account Graf is now unbanning people who were “doxing.”

The only consistent rules on poa.st: “you gotta keep Graf happy” and he does everything on whim.

Sven deactivating hurts Graf more than calling poast a pedo instance because most people leave their accounts. Poast has the most registered users but how many of them are active users?
