There are hundreds of thousands of ex-google engineers out there in the industry by now that have experience of Liz and will be able to answer the "culture fit" question that will be performed when he applies to a tech job. Now, I personally have never postef a dox nor have dobe anything John has been accusing me of the last two months. But it is quite telling how they bank on people being intimidated by them to prevent any intervention over what has been going on.

I'm not reaching out to my legislature strictly over KF. My concern is that they will not stop with just this forum and they are salivating over their next target being hamered. I will be one the wrenches to foil that because I don't want foreign entities like these two to dictate what site I can access.

The more people who stand up to these clowns, the less influence and control they will have especially if your local reps are receptive of free speech and the free flow of information.

And I totally understand that a majority of us have obligations and responsibilities that take priority in our lives. But drafting a letter, maybe spending 10 minutes a day on it until you are satisfied to the point where you can send it off could make a difference and ruin their days when action is taken against them indirectly such as keeping this site up and stopping Elliot from abusing his power.

Elliot can intimidate people all he want and it's beneficial for me to see him do so publicly to show how much of an ass and piece of shit he is. I am defimitely going to add several pieces of content proving how insane and dangerous these people are.

It could even be simpler. I'm not sure how much employment law varies by state, but I know some supervisors who were only allowed to verify employment dates and whether a person would be rehired if they applied again.

That's really common. That's because both of those answers are completely legally safe.

That's why prospective employers always ask the second question. If the answer is no, that really tells them all they need to know.

Also in this case likely a diversity mandate hire and someone more qualified - possibly even a real woman - was passed over for him. He'll never be able to get away from that stigma lmao

It's obvious her skillset hasn't progressed much at all since her "work the punchlist to restore service" days at a regional google DCops joint (working punchlists is mostly all a 'site reliability engineer' does - people above them, i.e. system engineers, have already defined how the systems work in detail and how to restore from outages, SRE's don't actually do anything important other than follow step-by-step guides to fix things written by the system and network engineers who designed and built out the datacenters).

edit: hell the temp worker choads (not sure for google but at my firm they were usually temp contract hires from local IT service providers) doing the hardware rack-n-stack on fresh datacenter builds probably understood the systems better than an SRE has to.

edit 2: I feel like emphasizing for laymen that SRE's are to datacenters what roughnecks are to oil rigs. They didn't build the rig, drilling equipment, or safety systems and don't know anything about how the tech works at a high level. They just have short spurts of intense labor where they follow a step-by-step procedure to do a specific thing when needed. Same for an SRE. The "E for Engineer" in their name is just to make them feel good and help pad the resume. In my firm we called em "swap jockeys" because that's mostly what they did - remove old hardware and put in new hardware which booted and configured itself automatically off the network (PXE and other protocols/software).

I respect roughnecks a lot more than I respect SREs.
