I thought Lowtax’s humor was always garbage. I was just there for the Photoshop Phridays and the obviously fake Martin Random stories. Guys like Lowtax and Zack Parsons truly thought they were talented but they found out the cold, harsh truth whenever they ventured outside SA.

Lowtax had his moments. The Furry Holocaust was hilarious and the only problem is they didn't do it again a few years laters with bronies. His last front page article has a few funny parts as I rememeber.

Mostly though, and especially at the end, he was unfunny garbage.
A lot of that Early Aughts random-access monkey cheese humor was only funny AT THAT TIME, due to what was going on around it. Once everyone is subverting expectations, no one is subverting expectations, etc.

Their problem was once they got rid of that and the sometimes juvenile edgy-for-the-sake-of-edgy shit, they didn't replace it with more mature humor, but with no humor at all. And Richard was basically too drugged out to be funny at the end, other than a certain sick voyeuristic humor in watching him self-destruct. But really a dude spiraling into suicide is more depressing than funny.

His life was like one of those memes where you can turn left into a bright future or right into a hellscape and he kept choosing the hellscape over and over.

He had a moderately successful YouTube career until shmorky tried to diddle his kids. I think when shmorky resigned from gaming garbage in shit covered diaperfur disgrace, that's when things really declined. He never had the same success as early something awful but to say he completely fizzled by 2006 is inaccurate. I think people liked to say that about him because it made him tard out.

Its important to not take the little things for granted. We can all wake up in the morning, open our eyes, and say "Another day of not being Lowtax" as we greet the day. If we make a mistake, we can just repeat "Well at least I didn't beat my live-in mormon cokewhore and costing myself $100,000 a year" and feel a lot better.
Maintaining a mindset of gratitude is important.

I still can't get over how lowtax looked like pushing towards his 60s in the end. Jesus. My guess is decades of pill popping (and probably some alcoholism because of course) completely wrecked his body.

It’s funny because that is the one suicide we’re probably actually somewhat, if very indirectly, responsible for. However, everyone fucking hates him, so they can’t use that against us.
