Yes and No. The first few games by-themselves are pretty good Action RPGs on the ps2, but as the series went on the quality went all over the place, and the inherently autistic premise of Final Fantasy characters and Disney became one of the main reasons that fans stayed invested. Most reasonable people in the fanbase moved on and left the really autistic fans like chibi to hang around. If you really want to check out the games basically just stick to 1 and 2, and either laugh at the cutscenes or just skip them

If you like Disney you can enjoy KH1. It's the most "Disney" action game out there. Very simple boy turned hero story. KH2 is a legitimately good action game but it loses the "Disney magic" in exchange for some edgy anime stuff. If you manage to like both, KH3 is a middle ground but the story is incredibly whack without investing a ton of time in the side games.

But even the most hardcore fans will probably advise you to stay away from those games as they're 6/10s at best. Let's just say the story and over-arching plot goes from 0 to retarded extremely quick.
