i've had fringe anime stored on my drive for years, I just assumed there's so much content on Google there's not a way to get rid of it

also it wasn't my archive. Apparently there's something on archive.com that's somewhat good for the old stuff but it's not up to date.

Google made a change of terms about a year or two ago were they said they will be removing shit from your drive if it goes against TOS. which I'm only hoping its just a bot that checks it.

Never trust google they make their services worse by the day. It's like a game for them to see how bad the next decision is gonna be and if they can beat the last one for being the worst.

It sounds fake to me, like the retarded Willie Lynch letter that black activists all believe is real and isn't totally a fraud written by glowniggers a few decades ago. Not that I've spent much time deeply researching it or anything, but none of the articles I've found that explain the term cite any documentary evidence that it existed before the end of the 20th century. Dictionary.com's article on the term only hints at evidence going back to the 90's as prison slang (doesn't provide a source for that either, though). If true, I think the term probably got seeded into black prison populations by some faggot activist 30 years ago and that it never existed before then.

I've still got access to my university's library databases, so when I've got time I'll try to see if any scholarly journals picked up on the term in the last couple decades. There's at least a chance they'll cite some sources that can be cross-referenced.

It's a southernism. Personally I heard it used before I knew what dial-up was. Honestly it blows my mind that it's as regional as it is, from my perspective I thought it was as well-known as porch-monkey or pavement ape as a slur.

Edit: That said, I'd still have expected someone like Metokur to have seen it before. I've seen it here and there on the internet over the years being used, Metokur just seems/seemed like the kind of guy who'd be interested with autistic focus on improving his slur vocabulary.

Fair enough - I live in a different region , it must not have any currency over here. Knowing that it's a southern thing will help me narrow down my search terms when I can make a project out of looking this up.

I think this will be Jim's last year not so much for lack of the physical energy to stream, but the lack of mental/emotional energy to deal with increasing internet censorship. He's a boomer and even going over to poast was a herculean effort for him. I also have been around dying people and although there is a marked difference in Jim's energy now vs a couple years ago, he doesn't sound on his deathbed.

definitely a late post but I was watching Jims old video talking about commentaries and found it fascinating that he referenced an old commentator who went by Boomstick545 by referencing the overuse of Pikachu avatars (a common thing you'd see at the time.) From what I recall, Boomstick used to hang out with RandomDCE, Bigal2k6 and all of them. True spergery for sure, but it all starts somewhere, right? I'm curious if Jim recalls anything about Boomstick or any of those other guys (namely JetroidMonkey and BigAl2k6.) Of course, these are people no one gives a shit about except me and maybe 2 other people, fascinating though nonetheless.

it appears to be everything before february 2022 according to the comments. Which is really all you need since the "modern" metokur is well archived on yt and bitchute.
