I pretty much disagree with everything else that poster says, but gas is $2.99 where I live. Near the gulf coast and pretty much throughout most of the midwest, gas is not $5 per gallon. Gas price is basically directly related to how close to the refineries in the gulf a person lives. Even before Biden started pulling from the SPR, gas never got over $3.99 here.

The real issue isn't how specifically high the price is, but how much higher it is than before. Prices here spiked about 70% shortly after Biden was installed and aside from some minor fluctuation, really haven't changed. It was at or just below $2/gal when Trump was in office, and for months it's been around $3.50. It did hit $4 for a few weeks at one point, but even $3.50 is a huge change from the historic low gas prices of the Trump first term.

I never said it was literally $5 a gallon. I said it was moving near $5 a gallon. What happened was it suddenly went from below $4 to about $4.50 here right when I needed to fill up. Pedo poster is the one who made it literally about $5 because that was some kind of atusitic own in his brain that I said moving towards or hovering around $5 instaed of what the literal price it is. Gas should be no where fucking near $4.50. It should be no where near $4, $3.5 or $3 either considering it was under $2 here under Trump. And yeah, the fact that it it's fucking that expensive means it could easily go over $5 with more Biden fumbles. Congrats on cheaper gas in the deep south.

It's still unacceptably expensive here and has proportionally increased just as much. It could definitely still hit $5 prr gallon.

People paranoid about the vote counting process being as fucked up as in 2020 with on day voting and then adding early voting totals (which switched the results in certain states). Then if it's too close, you go into recounts. There could also be run-off elections in certain places.
