What's an effective way to get rid of bad Sinuses? - Anything besides Government facade gimmick medicines.

Bro, I had the whole works cleared out surgically, all the way up to my eyeballs after decades of sinus disease. I put it off because it sounded awful, but it wasn’t that bad really. Recovery time was about 2 weeks. After that, only had maybe 2 infections and those cleared up fine with meds.

It might not be a sinus/allergy problem. I had a clogged ear that kept popping for months, and turned out to be a fungal infection (all the antibiotics the docs kept putting me on actually made the fungal infection worse). Especially if you haven't noticed a change through the seasons over the course of a year, it could be something like polyps blocking a sinus and not something that would be cleared out by most sinus meds or a netti pot.

Otherwise, I usually recommend taking a vacation to another state/country and seeing if the symptoms change. That can really narrow down if it's from an allergic response or not.

Hopefully your ENT doc can get to the bottom of it.

Had a 1.5 month long trip to Puerto Vallarta away from Calgary when it was happening and didn't notice much of a difference. Sounds interesting.

I also remember wearing ear plugs a lot in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and I was wondering what the black stuff on the plug was. It seems I may have been suffering from Aspergillus Otomycosis. Hopefully when I go to the doctor tomorrow morning, this would be revealed to be the case. For the first time in years, I feel like I have an answer, which feels amazing because I felt my life was really becoming unlivable. It started getting really bad in December 2021. My Sister has been suggesting that to me too. She's becoming an expert in medical Sciences.

Go to ENT, theres this minor surgery where they do where they pop your clogged sinuses with little balloons and it makes a world's difference

Other than that some oils and vaseline always helps, also clean air and your pillow height if you especially experience stuffy nose when you're asleep (make it higher)

How dusty is where you live?

I have had way less sinus, hay fever symptoms since I decided to become fit and started running out doors a few times a week. I assume more exposure to shit in the air makes my immune system work better. Plus just being heathier.

Nasal douche can work well to clear it all out.

Anti-histamines work well for symptoms, not the cause.

If all else fails, more to Canada and they'll probably allow euthanasia for sinus discomfort.

My mother actually suggested that to me as well and interestingly I live in Canada and have been hearing about the who euthanasia thing. It's been such a chaotic ride. There was 2 weeks where I was doing mostly fine but recently I started feeling a lot worse again. I never agreed with any suicide or anti-natality cult but I do understand some people could be so sick that they couldn't function which is understandable if they really run out of options. If life becomes too unbearable to live, then death becomes a craving. 2022 has been the worst year of my life because whatever I have been feeling feels so wrong, I am in a constant state of paranoia because of it an it would traumatize me for the rest of my life. The changes to my sleeping patters have been significant. I often sleep in a sit down position to better control how much I sleep because I fear I could wake up with something horrible like an Ear Infection. It was suggested to me I might be suffering from a fungal infection but not doctor could find any signs I was, they suggested Ear Trauma could be causing it but I am not sure. It could really be bad sinuses. I have some specialists scheduled but it seems to me the window continues to get smaller until eventually euthanasia becomes my fate.

So the ear drops I used helped with healing the Ear Trauma but sometimes the inside of my ear still burns for some reason and now I'm getting worried again. I feel it in my nostril too. The same one connected to that same ear.

Whenever the pressure changes, I find it really hard to breathe and my ears tend to plug up which can be scary. I'm still suffering as I am writing this and it also seems that mold from the snow is also having this bad effect on my sinuses. When ever I go to sleep, I often fear about what I might wake up with next. I sometimes feel very nauseous and dizzy out of nowhere and needed to rest. It is suggested the place I live in may have something to do with the fact I am suffering this bady. As you remember, last year was the worst year of my life because of this.

Since this thread is still alive

Chink tiger balm up the nose, the hotter the better. Itll burn like fuck but itll unclog anything that was ever in there

My BFF had chronic sinus issues, and then he found out he was allergic to wheat. Cutting that out of his diet solved that problem, and a few others as well.
