What a weird photo - this is not (even faked) lovey dovey hand-holding, he's just grabbing her trotter? The only excuse I can think of is she's trying to show off her ring as well, and thinks we wouldn't see it if she was holding his hand back, but it's so awkward.
Do we think a) Chantal is scamming the scammer (because with the bankruptcy and tax dodging she can't sponsor him), b) she's just dumb enough to believe she still can and it'll all work out, or c) she hasn't even looked into the logistics of sponsoring someone?

Agreed. Her behavior is completely different, as if she is playing a role. They have made an agreement, that’s for sure, though we can only speculate as to the terms. I am in the camp of: hefty payment for her, ticket to Canada for him, probably due to his lifestyle choices making it difficult to live in the Middle East.
RE the bankruptcies: I’m pissed off. She has gamed the system TWICE and absolutely will do it again! Why do the rest of us chumps keep paying our taxes and credit card bills when we could be doing the same??

Maybe because the rest of us understand that a bankruptcy has consequences years into the future, and we expect to live well into the future. Taking stock of our finances and adjusting our lifestyles to be affordable is a big part of adulting. Hell, even Peetz knew not to let his credit cards get unmanageable, as he spoke about needing to pay them down on a livestream before he actually gave up on life. This last two years with Gunt will likely see him end up bankrupt, but I don't believe he sees a life in future years at this point to concern himself about. In Gunt's case, she cares about nothing but her immediate comfort. Longer term just doesn't exist for her so why care about a non-existant credit rating when she has youtube bucks, family, and (if all else fails) the Canadian welfare system to fall back on as a last resort.
