They can scuttle all they want, at this point there's little chance of split tickets outside of Pennsylvania, New York, and Oregon. Any gubernatorial holds or flips for one party are very likely to be accompanied by their Senate counterparts.

What? I'm not encouraging it. Economy being the absolute shitter has people on edge. Someone on their last legs might do something crazy in minecraft. People are already living paycheck to paycheck. Society is one or two missed meals away from revolution and all that or whatever.

I think another pertinent question is how much they'll have in their coffers in 2024 at this rate. They already borrowed hard against future payouts to rig 2020, and from my understanding of what Gehenna has said they still haven't made any real headway on the principal of that debit, just interest. Obviously their donors will have more cash on hand by that point, but unless you're a true believer like Soros a lot of people are going to be looking at hedging their bets between now and then, especially if things are as bloody as we think they're going to be come Tuesday. Why bet on a losing horse with a bum leg when the payout is the same as a healthy one?

It's worse than that. They never paid down their debts from 2016, and the sheer volume of what they needed to do to stay in power back in 2010 was hitting the in the wallet before that. The establishment's been limping along since, counting on its controlled opposition tactics to keep a hold of things, and then 2020 forced them to go all in when they barely had anything to go on in the first place.

Right now, we're going into an electoral season where it looks like a Repub might take NYC barring extenuating circumstances. They're pulling all the goalies and calling in all their favors to stem off what looks to be a fucking landslide election, and right now, the best they can do is slightly stem *some* of the bleed out.

They are beyond fucked.
