He ended up buying a Single room at a $200 discount. But he had 3 people with him, so somebody else offered to trade their Double room for Chibi's. He kind of lucked out in the end.

Whats wild is seeing his discord act like demanding to speak to a manager to get shit done is a bad thing. IDGAF if people think im a karen, shits getting fixed and its going to be at their expense. Of course feeling slighted and making others take responsibility is difficult when you dont even hold yourself accountable. The fact he started crying irl and online to try and get things fixed speaks volumes. He didnt get the hotel to make things better, he once again went to his sycophants and in a passive way got them to deal with life for him AGAIN. Be it his homework, his work relations, or sorting out issues at a hotel he is incapable of functioning as an adult on his own and needs his hugbox to handle any issue he encounters. If the room booked is currently unoccupied, then it's yours. If there are people in it for some inconceivable reason, then you'll be accommodated. It makes absolutely no sense that he would have both of those things and yet there still be some kind of an issue. The clerk wouldn't just shrug and say 'yeah, you have proof that you paid for the room and have a confirmation number but you can't have the room, sorry.' Which is how he's trying to make it sound.

Having worked in the hotel industry I can tell you that there's only two ways you will lose out on a hotel room.

1. You didn't guarantee it with a credit card or you didn't put any money down on it.
2. They've overbooked, you got there late and your guaranteed room was given away.

But if it's the second choice then you still have a room. They will "walk" you to another hotel of equal rating. So a three star hotel will send you to another 3 star or higher hotel. They will pay for your night there, the taxi to and from the hotel and any incidentals you needed to get during that time. But the most common thing is if you've guaranteed with a credit card that room is yours and they will let it go empty because you've paid for it.

If Chibi is saying that he lost his room even though it's paid and he's got a guarantee and confirmation number then he's lying out of his ass. It either wasn't paid for and that $800 was just a deposit which he's going to get back or he never really made a reservation and just thinks he did. My money is on the latter.
