In NY the scanners are online all day. Why? No one has given an explanation but poll workers have to make sure they can access wifi during voting hours. At the end of the day the data is stored on a thumb dive and it's contents transmitted via wifi tot he Board of Elections. Absentee ballots are counted elsewhere but by scanning.

Well it would, wouldn't it? I recall there being some fuckery with the autopsy so whilst I rate @Gehenna as one of the highest standards of posters on the farms, I'm trying to remember the details though it's been a long time. There was some video of Heather Heyer in the parking lot as part of an Antifa group gathering ready for it. I also recall Heather's mother initially saying on camera that her daughter died of a heart attack. Maybe she thought that due to what EMTs at the scene told her and the lack of highly visible trauma. And on that subject it seems very odd that medics were doing vigorous chest pumps to someone who supposedly had lethal "blunt force trauma to the chest". Is that normal? Seems more like something you'd do for someone who had collapsed with heart failure. In any case, this is all I can find in my archives for her incl. the chest pumps. Take it as you will:

Please note that I did not add the text "Jiggles in landwhale" to the gif. This was the only clip I could find of her being taken away. Even in this you can see an EMT is STILL pushing on her torso vigorously and repeatedly which surely can't be the right treatment for someone who "died of blunt force trauma to the torso" can it?

Also, you can see here Field's car before it hit the crowd and see that the car was being attacked even as he fled.

And this is a post by Dwayne Dixon. One of Redneck Revolt who had been blocking off roads and self-confessedly brandishing firearms. (Note, brandishing is specifically pointing them at people and using for intimidation. Not merely open-carry).

There's video out there of him directing traffic and talking about closing routes to funnel protestors. But like Heather Heyer in the parking lot, I couldn't find it.

And for completeness, I've attached the official review on Charlottesville to this post though its ages since I read it. What I will say is that Heather's death, if it was from being struck by the car, was more honestly caused by the armed people who were mobbing Field's car causing him to flee down a street they themselves had filled with people. What I'll also remind people of is that this was the start of the lie about saying "Trump called White Nationalists very fine people".

Honestly, from the video I saw she looks considerably thinner and more feminine in this picture one than the video I saw on the day! I say this because really I can genuinely lend a lot of credence to the idea that her obesity contributed to her death. She was huge. It took seven people to carry her stretcher away (see picture above).

They were doing it for the cameras. Considering how ridiculously obese she was I don't think she could have breathed while laying on her back anyway.

Worked on ambulances for ten years. Pointless spoiler as I'm talking in the 1st person a few lines down, but whatever.

CPR is performed on anyone without a pulse, as long as there's no obvious signs of irreversible death.

I've performed CPR on dudes who were hit by cars before. Sometimes they're a complete fucking mess. Sometimes, in one job I had, they just break their neck and die. Short of having your chest blown away or missing your head, I'm doing compressions.

That video doesn't show anything unusual for a traumatic cardiac arrest, or a run of the mill heart attack. It's just CPR by protocol, it's not for show, it's the appropriate treatment for cardiac arrest.
