I''ll try to. And I may need to see my dentist and doctor this year anyway. And if I can be able to move to the new apartment before my lease on this is up in June, I will at least try to.

Thank you.
Ok a couple of things @WogglebugLover .

  1. You should be seeing your doctor more than once a year as it is, even for checkups
  2. You should definitely be seeing your dentist at least yearly for checkups on your dental health
  3. Why do you suddenly say you "may" need to see them?

Alright. I see your point about seeing them more often. I only meant I may need to see them because it's been a while since I have and I actually need my dentist to refer me to an affordable ortho-surgeon to remove on of back molars soon which he mentioned about before.

A new update from me. @voiceguy has been helping me make adjustments and improvements to my screenplay of my first movie in various places of it. I'm still working on it a little bit now actually. It's now up to 87 pages in length but I doubt it will be extended anymore. @voiceguy is an awesome co-writer now and then as he seems to have an understanding of my vision of the Wogglebug as of now. He has helped me to make Sylvie and Wogglebug's friendship have deeper meaning and connections from what I already laid out in the script already. He also added at the end of the Wogglebug saying, "There's no need to be afraid of me, my dear. I like children - I like everyone." Which is exactly what I meant all the time. This is exactly what the Wogglebug meant to say. He also added another new song to it in an unexpected way. I admit it never occurred to me before to have the Wogglebug actually sing his story of his origins, and he wrote it excellently. Be assured I plan to give him credit in the credits for being a co-writer.

The reason for his long absence is he's had internet connection problems (he hasn't been the only one) and he was also in the hospital for a week due to an intestinal virus. He has come home now but needs bed rest for another week on doctors instructions. We still haven't got around to any recording of dialogue in movie but we will get this done one way or another.

I plan to work really hard on my movie. And I'm considering releasing it in a few years along with the next two movies in the series at the same time altogether. I need all to know I'm really series about a series and what I put my heart into. Also I'll need to release the movie "The Wogglebug's Adventure in New York" as the fourth movie instead of the first now. Thank goodness I never actually finished filming it let alone released it. And it was just because I changed the script again after it was reviewed by a script coverage service and @voiceguy has yet to come through with the extra dialogue Now that I actually want to do a whole series of movies I need to change the script again. I need to change that Woggie says he's from Oz to saying he's from Genoma. And need to change how he enters New York and I decided to make it not so much like he was just yanked out of his world and almost dropped into the other one against his wishes. He needs to feel he has a purpose there and know something about the scientist who brings him in from the start and want to help him as much as the scientist wants to help him get home again. He needs to interact more personally with the scientist and also have more added to how he helps the guy's family life by making his two daughters happy. I can see how the Wogglebug being in Genoma instead of Oz makes him so much more dignified and heroic overall and so it is a good idea and what WogglebugLove Productions is all about

I've also paid off my picture book artist's first invoice and if all goes accordingly I may have the rest paid off by June just before I move to the cheaper apartment and can take care of all future payments to him better. I sent him an email also lately about wanting to try to work something out about the mistake I made of setting the picture books in Oz instead of Genoma at first. I posed three ideas to him about we might do so and of course none of them include changing the plan of the Wogglebug being in Genoma like he wasn't in Oz to begin with, or actually selling the Oz related ones publicly at all. Because all I want is to tie the picture books in with my movies. My artist seems to be agreeing to one of the ideas I posed but I sent him another email lately explaining more and he still hasn't got back to me on it yet. I'm sure he's also very busy with other things.

@Jared has verified in our PMs he is not the Jared I thought he was (it isn't even his real name) I'm sorry I mistook him for someone else. This isn't the first time I've mistaken another person on a forum for someone else I thought I knew personally. But for understandable reasons. I once mistook a person on the WGW Forums (who also posted bad reviews to my books) for a former friend I'd had. But finding their two separate Amazon accounts confirmed they were two different people even if they had the same birthday of July 25 and shared similar likes and dislikes.

And it's worth mentioning there are a few people around here think any positive reviews of my books on Amazon are written by me through "sock-puppet" Amazon accounts. On the page of my latest book "Mr. Wogglebug's Second Time Around"there is one 5 star review from my friend Amy Rose and there is one comment under it from I presume someone from here who wrote "Ms Hanson I know this is you. You must feel so unconfident to pose as someone else under another account to review your own product." I assure you this is NOT true. I have NEVER written any reviews for any of my own books and I promise I never will, either. The review can be verified as being from a unique individual than me.

All positive reviews of my books will always be verified as being not from me but from verifiable unique readers. I mean after all, if I was actually stupid enough to review my own book I would never be able to get away with fooling people because after all my extra account would have only reviews of my own books on it. There is no such account anywhere on Amazon and never will be. You can verify Lalalei's account is separate from my own in this regard. And since I at least know I never posted any reviews of my own books, it's really the ones accusing me of doing so (with no verifiable evidence to back up their claim) who are the true stupid ones and I am free to be disgusted with them. After all, it's one thing to mistake someone online for someone else, it's another to be accusing and judgmental of them out of spite.

Updates from me:

I've finally and ultimately decided I shall not release my movies to Amazon. Instead I will sell them through my own website only. Profits will be made from them by setting the prices myself and also figuring out how to connect my PayPal account with my website together with the Checkout Cart system that comes with the Business Plan of my website hosting provider.

And I shall be sending the DVDs myself from my own home. I'll just get me some blank DVD discs, blank DVD cases, and a program to make DVD cover art for them as I already have a program to make disc cover art. Also I will reach out to only the right sort of targeted audience for my movies as much as I can in any ways I can find.

And I will think of a form for buyers to fill out before they purchase so that I know they are honest and their motives and intentions are good and right and they have no intentions of dishonesty or malice with me or movies or my fandom.

I hope that this way of selling will be only temporary (maybe ten years) and after I have completed the entire series of at least 10 movies and have built up my own fan base with them I will then release them publicly to Amazon.

I have talked this over with @voiceguy and he has fully agreed with me on it.

  • Selling from your own website- little to no traffic, your sales will go through the floor.
  • Home-made cases and disc art- this will look shoddy and unappealing to most people, and further drive sales/interest down
  • Making people jump through hoops just to buy a single kids movie? this will put a lot of people off buying it, added to the already troublesome fact of having to navigate your site to buy it. This will drive sales down.
  • Attempting this for 10 years? Movies like this only have a very brief burst of interest, and i doubt you'll be able to hold interest for 10 years, due to being so niche and already having alienated a huge part of the potential fanbase from Oz fans.
You're basically screwing yourself over. Again. Despite all well-meant advice from people on the forums. You never learn.

Despite your well-meant advice to me, I must still follow through with the plan I just outlined to you anyhow. I can do my best to make it work to the best of my ability and even if I make not a lot of sales during the ten years that I must do this I still need to wait and complete the whole series before I can sell them publicly. And I mean after all that way if my movies receive any bad publicity of any sort at least it will be for the whole series taken into account and I will have completed it and done it the way I wanted it. And I'm sure I will still gain fans before and after they are released in a decade. Just so you understand I am forced to need to do it this way because of all of you here. I don't want any of your claws and fangs on my prized works ever again if I can help it.

And I cannot help but need to be alienating the Oz fans (only the fans of the books actually). Because I realize this is what I have to do because I want the Wogglebug to become a great hero and Oz doesn't want that. So it's for the best he be in a non-Oz environment exactly as if his origins always took place there and never in Oz.

And actually @voiceguy has been quite an encouragement and inspiration in why I should be alienating toward the Oz fans and to how much of an extent (a great one). His ideas of subjects for new books forced me to remember why I wanted the Wogglebug to be in movies in a non-Oz environment as if his origins were always there and never in Oz. It's because I love the Wogglebug and hate Oz because Oz hates him. The purpose of his new life in Genoma is for him to begin again in rebirth there and live as much of an ideal life as possible right from the start, have the best of friends supporting him, and be an awesome hero from the first movie and throughout in increasingly bigger ways. No pain and suffering or misery or peer pressure or ever being accused of being too no good for him ever again.

And if the only way to keep this original plan is to be a hundred percent negative about Oz in my books, antagonize (if not outright villianize) certain characters Oz fans place a lot of value on, and then leave Oz in a state of devastation (to an extent) in the making of a time warp spell to be cast in favor of having the Wogglebug's history in Oz erased so that he can be born again into Genoma with the same origins exactly like he never lived in Oz at all so as to have the exact sort of new life in the exact way I explained in the above paragraph, then so be it This is how it shall be.

..."forced" to do this? We haven't forced you to do anything, you're making these rather retarded decisions by yourself, young lady. People here have offered all manner of well-wishes and good advice regarding marketing, distribution, additions, changes..And you keep going back to really, really poor choices.
Most of us don't have fangs or claws and take umbrage at your assertation that we're somehow deliberately trying to ruin your work when we've been trying to do the exact opposite.
Alienating the Oz fans is unnecessary and pointless. There are plenty of "villain" or "side" characters in famous franchises that have gone on to become their own successful franchises....because they try and appeal to the people who are fans of the original franchise. By insisting that you somehow "must" ignore or even forcefully oust Oz fans from your fanbase, you're basically sinking your ship before it even launches.
It sounds to me like @voiceguy , if he's supporting you alienating a fanbase, has no idea of how to handle franchises or fandoms for the purpose of creating a success. Every person you alienate is not just one less fan but many, as they'll likely tell their friends and family not to bother either.
Essentially you're projecting your own isolation and oddity, and possibly mistreatment, onto this bug, and want to live a happy-go-lucky life through him in this fantasy world. He's not real, and he doesn't suffer. He's just a character with a role.

....Deliberately devastating oz in your book and antagonizing an entire fandom? Are you utterly insane? No need to answer, it's an obvious "yes" from your behaviour

You bumped a dead thread that was founded on the notion you want to fuck a talking cockroach from a childrens book. You care. You're just upset you're not getting the accolade you think your retarded update merits. Personally, I don't think it matters what you do with your 'franchise', no one is ever going to pay to see any of it.
