Because in all honesty when Dobson talks about comics and cartoonists, he's talking about daily newspaper comics. I don't think I've heard him bitch about those yet, but I could be mistaken.

I think he might have complained about a Dilbert comic once. Or that was some other lolcow. The only other mention of daily newspaper comics from Dobson at the top of my head was when he was explaining why he tried to make SYAC a nearly-daily thing for a while and discovered it was quite exhausting when you don't have a backlog handy.

It's pretty telling he stopped asspatting her until Wu was "famous" again.
He likes Marvel Puzzle Quest and reposting comics as a form a virtue signalling but that's about all as far as I can see.

Dobs doesnt actually read comics.
He reads mary sue articles about comics.
He wasnt aware batwoman was a lesbian (or existed) until the animation was annouced and thinks events like the killing joke were recent.
Whilst he goes on about how progressive Jane Thor and muslim ms marvel are he doesnt actually read the stories he just likes playing as them on puzzle quest.
Dobbie only really reads golden age marvel and dc stuff since he finds the current stuff too dark which is ironic given that they are now at their most kid friendly level in years.
Dobbie also dislikes deadpool...just sayin
