Honestly, people really need to touch grass and go outside. Like my boomer insane mother who won't stop texting like the world is going to end because Republicans didn't win every single election in every single state that had them. Gains are gains. It's going to be an interesting ride nonetheless.

My state kept it's individual identity since Abraham Lincoln fucked that up just so he can have sex with niggers. If shit hit's the fan My state is fine, the issue will be bug people flooding in droves because they're reliant on everyone else for bare necessities. The only states I can excuse are the tiny states of New England.

Also how many Republicans are actually going to be an obstacle for Biden when Mitch the Bitch and Marbles McCarthy will likely rein them in? I'm glad Ted Budd was able to win. But if he turns out like Tillis, would having a Democrat in the Senate seat be any different?

Republicans dropped the ball overall as far as leadership from McConnell and McCarthy went.

And then try to blame their failures on Trump, even though there are people alive and remember what the GOP was like before Trump.

Plus it seems like some considerable number of conservatives voters engaged in vote splitting or didn't do the Democrat equivalent of "vote blue no matter who" because Oz wasn't good enough to being back some utopia for them.

Though a more disturbing issue is that even in red states, election offices and other government institutions are all staffed by Democrats and if Arizona isn't a wakeup call, then there will be more fuckery by 2024.

We'll support a spook from an organization that ran a child trafficking ring and our state's own Liz Cheney - anything to maintain our on-paper wealth!" It's been kinda funny to watch a religious institution choose money over divine inspiration and adopt the Antichrist's own talking points. I guess Mormons now know how Catholics feel. It's also been pretty interesting to see how quickly churches have been folding to the Antichrist.

When has any religious institution (specially mormonism) ever been about genuine inspiration, and not some long term grift-you-out-of-your-paycheck scam? The Mormonism origin itself was easy enough for me to go "yea, they didn't even try with that bullshit story" as a kid. The quicker the GOP shuts the fuck up about religious issues, the quicker they will start competing with independents. Religious nuts are always going to vote R anyways; you can thank Pastor Rick for that.

NEW: Tabulation for the day is now underway. We estimate more than 400K ballots left to count in Maricopa County: •We received ~275K early ballots on Election Day. In 2020, that # was 170K. Will know exact number later. These must be processed and signature verified. 1/2

I suppose it's easy for you to see that, since you weren't born into it and indoctrinated. I live with these people and telling them it's a grift (even though it is) convinces exactly none of them.

On the other hand, a financial confederation comes along that's convincingly similar to the Antichrist, as described in the Book of Revelations. Instead of fighting an institution that explicitly wants to take away their agency, their prophet/elders start changing their language and teachings to accommodate it. My only point is all religious folk will eventually need to make a choice between worshipping their god and their religious institution that worships money. Head like a hole and all that jazz.
