Dynamic controls are local (offline) only so irrelevant and modern controls (similar to GG stylish) make you deal less damage.

Its offline only, so probably a net positive for him. He can just "turn it on to see what it does" to make the story mode even easier. Don't forget, mr. Allata P. Paul demands Dave grinds 40 hours of story mode before he touches online gameplay for any multiplayer game.

Phil is kinda in a strange place where he is defending utter shit games like Sonic Frontiers and that Gotham game, AAA is dead and he doesn't want to ACKnowledge it since he'd have to change, come up with a brand fixed to a certain thing most likely.

What fascinates me is you can see he wants to call them shit but he won't because he is a contrarian cunt. I dunno if this duality is actually whats partly to blame for his baby rages of late since its pent up, or just simply his ability to even keep up with these easy mode corpo games is going.

The odd thing is a see the same level of cope from the Sonic community, I was looking at that post DSP shared on Twitter about the DLC glitching, not one of them was bitching. Any other game even would have people saying wtf why can't you even do a launch right...

It's amazing just how checked out he is when playing this game, I know Phil is retarded in general but I don't know if this thing I caught is just retardation or him being a dent stacked on top of him being checked out because he is playing a children's game, Phil has to talk to the Ariel the mermaid and when he talks to her Ariel asks him what is his favorite thing about being a human, the game gives you three options : Shoes, fire or "I have trouble choosing just one", if you pick the last option in which you don't know Ariel tells you "I would have trouble choosing too, but please do try" and sends you back to those initial 3 options, Phil is so retarded that he chose the third option three times in a row while reading the dialog out loud lmao.

Good question. The weird part to me is that Sonic Frontiers has a 9/10 average on Steam. It doesn't look much better than Forces yet Forces has a 5/10 average.

I'm gonna be honest. A lot of complaints are overblown. I'm playing on PC and while some graphics are a little buggy it runs fine. the designs of some characters are bad. Robin in particular is fucking atrocious. However I'm enjoying the combat and the mobility. It gets a lot better when you stop acting like it's apart of the last Batman series. I haven't tried multiplayer yet but Dave can easily play single. And for goodness sake take time to learn the mechanics and not bulldoze his way through it just so he can play something else.

Follow up. I don't know how to feel but the Gouty One and I see eye-to-eye on this. It really does feel like there was a conCERTed effort to just crap on Gotham Knights. The game is not bad. Maybe a little short and a little easy but it's fun. I've tried asking around and the main thing I keep seeing is it isn't like the Arkham Series. Seeing how it's not a part of the series that doesn't seem like a valid complaint. At the same time it's obvious the game can't stand on its own. It's unable to defend itself and I sure as hell won't be going to bat (heh) for it any longer. So to be fair to Phil: when you're right, you're right. But just drop it at this point. It's just a game.

watched a stream of it and frontiers has one of the worst final bosses I've seen in a game in a long time.

I think saying the game is shit because it's demonstrably worse than games it's imitating that came out 11, 9 and 7 years before it is perfectly valid, actually.

EDIT: You'd be right if Gotham Knights wasn't the exact same type of game as the Arkham games were. Comparing, say, a turn based RPG to an open world game is dumb. But it's quite clealy trying to piggyback on the popularity of those games so saying it isn't fair to compare them - ignoring the fact that it's worse than most if not all of them despite being released way after them - is retarded.
